Today we chose to visit the best rated Key Lime Pie shops in Key West and sample a variety of their pies, cakes and ice creams, YUM! We chose which shops we would visit based on google reviews, yelp reviews and personal experience. PLUS, we made sure each shop was walk up friendly. Went to the Key Lime Pie Bakery the last time I was in KeyWest... which was 2003... I seem to remember the store front was much smaller, and they had a cute cat outside for people to pet... great pie.

Having done the Key West Key Lime pie taste test ourselves, we highly recommend Kermit's. They have frozen key lime on a stick dipped in chocolate that we all liked the best. Thanks for showing us one of our favorite places to visit!

We stay at Sunshine key campground and the gas station there sells the frozen chocolate covered pies , get one almost every time coming back from fishing the bridges .

Merry Christmas, the first time I was in Key West there was a place called the Blonde Giraffe. They had an amazing Key Lime pie. Is it no longer there? Great video.

Me and a couple of friends was on vacation in Florida (Miami, Key West, Daytona, Fort Myers Beach) a couple of years ago and I think we were to that first Key Lime Pie place. I never have had key lime pie before, but I took that extra tart one and It was awsome. Perfect tartness for swedish tastebuds. 😁 I must go back sometime and take a fishing trip in Florida. Mahi mahi would be a dream to catch.

Great to see you diversing. Difference here in Australia is that a Pie usually has a top. Tarts don't. We mainly use the term 'Pie' for a meat pie which can now contain anything.

I tried key lime pie once. A friend of mine was dotting on how I should try it, so I gave in. He horked it down in like 2 bites, I took a ttatse and tthen called the waitress over.. When she got thee I told her it was sspoiled, she said no way. I had her taste i and she said yes it is spoiled, then said she would get me aother, but chose to get a crredit on the bill. My friend said "Hey wht about my credit?" Itold him he ate the wholoe thing.. I have never tried it again, even whwen I got to Key West.
