Experience an Asturian feast when José Andrés and his daughters taste traditional comfort foods of José’s childhood with famed Spanish chefs Nacho Mazano of Casa Marcial, Dulce Martínez, and Marcos Morán of Casa Gerardo. From tortos with caramelized onions and local blue cheese, fabada with some of the finest beans in the world, and arroz con leche for dessert -- this is a meal that is close to José’s heart and makes him who he is.

I just placed an order with Rancho Gordo for beans (arriving in a couple of days to my home) - now I need to go back and find the closest bean to make fabada and place another order!!! Que sabroso!!! Y arroz con leche - my favorite dessert growing up (I'm Cuban American with Spanish ancestry).

I've had an almost identical fabada dish growing up almost every week from my mom, including some chorizo. I kinda got sick of it. Except, no saffron. I don't think Portuguese Azoreans have ever used saffron.
