Palora or the spikey yellow dragon fruits seeds grow into yellow. The others are hybrids with no thorns need to be grown by cuttings to keep yellow. Hybrid seeds make different varieties of dragon fruit plants and mostly grow back to original parent varieties. It takes many years to find seedling with hybrid characters from seed. Palora seedling are best to grow and graft. Nice video choosing bathroom tissue.

Yes, great info. Some state that it's similar to an "Heirloom" variety. I still have several seedling growing, however they grow slow in my climate and don't like our cold winter temperatures. I just moved them to a shadier spot today.

I bought some delicious dried dragon fruit chips from Trader Joe’s until they ran out. Anyhow I decided to try and sprout the seeds and I have some very nice little starts!!! It’s a purple variety so it will remain unknown until I get a lot more experience in the future. Thank you for your videos!

That is awesome! I'll give it a try. I attempted to sprout freeze dried dragon fruit, but it didn't work. I think the process makes the seeds unviable.

Hello, when you place the seeds in the pot is the seeds on the toilet paper facing up or seeds down and paper on top? Thanks

Hi! They do better facing up. Currently, I just put the seeds and pulp into a bowl or water and separate them. Next, I pan for gold with them and keep the seeds that sink in the water... while changing the water often. Last, I put them straight into the soil. It works well for me. Thanks for watching.

I find them in local stores a few times per year. They run anywhere from 4-6 dollars each in the USA.
