In my opinion no any Indian brand matches the German that's why still Tata,Mahindra struggling to expand their market outside the India, why Polo stands separately bcz of its durability of each parts of course German Technology, even after 1 Lakh, 2 Lakh car performs same as day 1 and also u won't get any body sounds after 10 years also because I am also VAG Group Customer and Indians Brands should look after, Handling, Performance, durability, when you come to ALTROZ RACER This car should have more power and Performance when u called it as a RACER, thats why Polo. Always stands separately.
But sunderdeep sir , as a Hyundai fan I still love i20 n line in terms of driving dynamics and power distribution of car , fir and finish with luxury feel❤ Your 15 yr old subscriber 🙏
Is it possible to remove that black on the car??? I like everything except paint scheme. All 3 colours are good but that black paint on whole top of the car is not actually likeable for many. Tata must have given monotone paint scheme as an option atleast.
Altroz no doubt is a good Hatch. The doors do open wide but because of low ground clearance it does not offer comfortable Ingress-Egress especially for Senior citizens. The rear seat legroom is just OK & feel cramped if I may Compare it with i20 & Baleno. That's the reason why Punch out sells Altroz by big nos. Paaji.... Tata listen to you as far as offering Turbo Engine & 6 Airbags are concern. But they will not assure you of improving their Customer & Aftersales Services are concern.
Sardaar ji 🙏 I have just one complaint with this, I want to buy this for my father but due to his knee trouble I only can buy an amt. Wish tata had given amt, dca variant or has planned in the near future. Do you think tata had plans for an amt racer?
Sbhi review waalo ne ratti ratayi baatein boli hn....koi to h jisne deaign ko dhyaan se dekha h...paint quality ko dekha h....interior ko acche se check kiya h.... practical review....
Everything was well sorted at your end. Cinematic shots on the outro and the starting of the walkaround section was really good and you went through all points really well! However, personally I'm a bit disappointed by this car. It looks like it's a bit riced out coz the racing stripes on the bonnet look way too off, seems like a job from your local vinyl shop and the new paint schemes are not too good as well. Same alloy wheels carrier forward from the existing Altroz, no major mechanical changes and also not featuring the new 1.5 turbo engine from the auto expo. There is nothing RACE- like and the only cool thing seems to be the exhaust :(
Brother I thoroughly respect your opinion & feedback but it’s a fine upgrade under 11 lakh as compared to the existing turbo which provides lesser torque; it now gets 6 airbags, 360 deg camera and infact in person grey colour looks super drool worthy
Mera starting se hi y view raha h Altroz ki looks k liye kii y hot nhii pr sexiest hatch h ❤️ bs indicator fender pr shodna galat h inko ab ose sahi kr dena chahiye uske illava ventilated seats deke isko pura complete kr diya h Tata ne 🔥
How do you compare this with 3XO AX5 TCMPFi varient? I have booked this one but now having second thoughts as I feel this one feels more VFM when considering 5 str safety plus features for the money. My driving is city plus highway mostly and sometimes hilly areas. Also can you tell about the difference in mileage as well.
Indicators on fendor in 2024 in a 10 lakh car.. What a joke..😂😂 Racer likhne se gaadi racer nahi ho jaati. Why do reviewers forget to mention the amazing rusting quality of tata cars? I wish I find one of these on an expressway while I drive my POLO TSI. 😅
@@SunderdeepSingh sirji meri altroz puri khatam ho gayi hai rust hoke😭😭 aap kaho toh photos mail kar deta hu. For disclaimer mai roz gaadi nahi dhota na hi mai ocean k pass rehta hu. Not just altroz sir, service station pe nexon tigor and even harriers are rusted.
On lower rpm they feel notchy / slight jerk when you accelerate but when at higher rpms & bigger gears (4,5,6) it feels very smooth, aggressive and returns great fuel economy
@SunderdeepSingh that good to hear . In my opinion very well rounded product by tata with a tried and tested engine and good features addition as well as look enhancement 👍
The Altroz lacks features such as auto-dimming IRVM, rear disc brakes, and LED lights. Based on these omissions, it seems more like a regular Altroz with some modifications rather than a true racer edition. The i20 is still the best option in my opinion.
4 disc brakes don't guarantee u best braking distance... example is skoda slavia and Hyundai Verna....creta and kushaq....skoda offers 2 disc brakes and Hyundai offers 4 yet skoda feels more progressive and confident while braking at high speed braking....led lights are the worst thing if u drive at nights ...na hi khud ko acche se dikhta h or na hi saamne waale ko....halogen are more practical than led lights....
@@SunderdeepSingh I believe the i20 can at least score 3 stars. I doubt anyone would choose this unreliable and overpriced car just for an extra 2 stars.
@@cardevta8534 In the long run, drum brakes need to be tightened frequently; otherwise, braking performance worsens. I have a Ciaz, and initially, it was very good, but now I am facing real issues. However, my neighbor's Scorpio N has maintained the same braking performance as when it was new. That’s why I decided my next car should definitely have 4 disc brakes.

Different segments sir. If you have the budget go for Taigun 1.5 over racer. But if you are torn between Taigun base vs Racer, the Racer will give you more value for money. The engine refinement I feel would be slightly compromised over Taigun but in the longer run, with all the practical features and a good music system, your family would praise the Altroz racer more, while you would still have loads of fun driving it... The reason why I pitched in is because I had chosen Altroz iTurbo over the Slavia base variant 1.5 years back. My family and I have grown to love the car and drive it in sports mode almost always.
@@GuptaAmal01 many thanks Sir for your valuable inputs. I like to spent little more for the taigun but one concern, I heared AC cooling is not that good and being in Mumbai we need AC in all the season there is no winter.
@@FromTheHeartofRyan Sir I didn't find the cooling in the Taigun to be as bad as they say during my test drive. It did cool the car effectively. That said, Tata does have better cooling to be honest, and Altroz iTurbo has express cool which is pretty good here in NCR. But if you have the budget to go for the Taigun, it should be a no brainer. Just get a test drive of the variant of your choice. VW is VW! Also, for technical details on any VW product, I believe there is no one better than Sunderdeep sir to take up your questions...
Mr Gagan Chaudhary noted many niggles and inconsistencies in altroz racer and also in all of tata cars. What are ur views as you have reviewed punch nexon and now altroz racer?
Panel gap inconsistencies are shown here too, no middle head rest at the rear, no backlit window buttons, bottle holder quality is average, no reflectors on the doors, halogen projector headlights, missing insulation at some areas, 4 lug nuts, missing driver side grab handle, speaker mesh looks odd, rear head room is strictly very less for the tall passengers, gear knob has some vibrations on lower rpms but there are more positives than slight negatives. Altroz overall is a far better product than their own Nexon & Punch and scores more on the dynamics & build than Koreans.
