I am a really proud owner of Tata hexa XM variant . I think is a value for money product and the Terrain response system is just phenomenal ... Awesom car by Tata and the styling of the stop lights in the car is fabulous . One of the most strong point of this car is the music system . And people reactions r really awesome towards this car . They stop us and ask all about the car it's really feel like we r driving a expensive car . And the after Sales Service also improved . I have found no issues till now everything is just ok report . Really proud to be a hexa owner

Driven this for 700 km and now in love with Hexa.... Hugely underrated till now... Will be a big hit in future for sure. Superb car.

I am a proud hexa owner n I own the XMA variant. Automatic is really good n it smothers all kinds of roads, every road is just a cake walk for the car. While I accept that it's a bit short on features n it's infotainment is not the best to use, for the price you pay, the quality u get is better than Innova or xuv n the road presence is the best. No matter where you stop people ask you what car it is, steering is heavy but it's not an issue that u can't live without. I'm proud to have bought hexa and always been a proud Tata owner even before

Hexa ia really a excellent product compare to Innova Crysta. The prblm is that people are sacred about TATA after sales service what they have faced earlier but in reall world tata has changed.

I am a proud owner of Hexa XT 4x4. You have made an excellent and honest review. I fully agree that if one does not require 4x4 mode, Hexa Automatic is the best choice. I have already completed 50,000+kms and weekly traverse on extremely rough roads...or some times even where there are no roads. Without a doubt this is a very capable vehicle.... better than any in this price range. One more point of importance. I have had two serious accidents. Both the times, there was no mistakes of ours and there were no mechanical failures.... such are the Indian driving conditions. In both instances, : (01) the car was never out of control, (2) the car took the collision with confidence and all the passengers were absolutely safe...not a scratch ....not even a jerk. (3) I am really very impressed with the handling characteristics and the safety that it provides. (4) in 4x4 mode too the performance of this car ...with all it's weight is laudable. We have been able to come out of thick mud where we were down to our wheel hubs. I would recommend Hexa to anyone.

I stay in Mumbai and have hexa xta 5000 km run done so far in 3 months out of which only 300 km in highways and rest in city. I find your review very detailed and precise. I would like to add few things: 1. Size wise it is in league of Innova and xuv. So there is no extra inconvenience if looking for 7 seater. Plus side is that there is substantial space and seating comfort compared to competition Esp. in 3rd row. 2. With 3rd row down, it has more storage than xuv. Recently once the was a huge luggage on a trip which couldn't be fit in xuv(3rd row down) and had to be accomdated partially in 2nd row in that. But same luggage got fit in hexa with 3rd row down. Had me proud :) for acres of space in hexa. 3. After ecu update 3 days back for auto transmission, the remap has reduced turbo lag substantially and car seems eager even in drive mode. You may get it updated for your hexa auto as well and feel the difference. It is very linear now. However, mileage is reduced. Earlier city mileage was between 11 and 12 kmpl but now come down to 10-11 kmpl. 4. Missing features though desired are not significant. But the steering reach adjustment is a major flaw. However, i have adjusted to that but that should have been provided. Other than that completely enjoying this car in regular Mumbai jams with amazing music to listen to and with auto transmission and this handles like a hatchback rather than suv. Love it's hydraulic steering. Overall i feel it is a premium vehicle being sold in affordable price.

Practical and fantastic review of Hexa, but couldn't make sense of what was the long-term review .. was there any? you could have mentioned so far kms it has been driven, no. of months/yrs, no. of services, average expenses, service experience, mileage comparison new vs current, maximum km driven in single stretch, etc etc.. sorry to mention this I may be wrong but couldn't get answers to these, thus expressed. Wanted to buy one, would be glad to hear from you.

Very reliable and robust product from TATA. I am using XT model for 60-70 km daily since last year and getting Avg of 14-15 kmpl. I think 19" allow wheel and XT manual transmission is responsible for high mileage.

I am a proud owner of Tata Hexa XMA and it's very reliable and capable. Engine is very powerful and quite at lower RPM'S but creates noise after 3000 rpm. Very usable and fun to drive.

Dear motor octane I have been driving this beast since more than a year.. I am getting an avarage of 13.5kmpl to 14.5kmpl in city area and 16kmpl to 17kmpl in highway.and btw really genuine review.keep it up... 👍🏻

Nice review. Am an owner of the XMA variant. Excellent car and is far superior in its ride quality compared to its competitors. Its a zero fatigue ride. I hear that TATA is working on further cost optimisation on this product, hope this would be done with a practical approach that retains it as the best VFM option. Fuel efficiency for my driving is, I believe, excellent - I get ~ 15 kMPL in a 20:80 city: highway driving, keeping speed within the limit of 80 kmph, applicable on the roads that I drive by.

I own Tata Safari Dicor and now upgrading it to Hexa XMA. Thanks much to you Ruchit for justifying my decision directly or indirectly. Excited to drive home HEXA this weekend. :-)

I really aspire to buy hexa , cause I cannot get over d fact that this car is such an amazing overall product ., Only 3 things which I think should be added keeping the price same are- 1. Android auto 2. Push start/stop and 3.electrically adjusted seats., I'd these things are added then it would become a even greater product ., But still my fav at the moment is Tata hexa 👌💯🔥

By the way, you said that right about the laggyness in music system. The Harman designed music system does takes about a second to respond when any button pressed.

I have HEXA XTA and i am getting city average of 11-12 with light foot. and on highways I am getting 17-18 average again with light foot and on 100 KMPH I am activating cruise control.

I have booked TATA Hexa XTA Just for ride quality, suspension and Steering response. I have almost booked XUV500 but after taking test drive of HEXA, I was not convinced on Ride quality and Suspension. I hope its going to be good choice.

Meri car ka accident hua tha toh left ke 2 door change hue the aur un logo ne door change krne mai 2 month lga die pehle 1.5 month tak kehte rhe ki door available nhi hai phir 20 din lga die car dene mai aur uske bad bhi itna bekar kam kiye ki dono door thore se bahar ke taraf nikle hai ab ap batao mai kya karu
