Ratan sir Tata was thinking for middle class people so they can afford this car . But the Indians mind consider this car as Shame 😭.

My friend owns a tata nano amt, we roam around in his car and it's such a fun Ample amout of space for 4 people and it's also comes with some boot space.. Perfect car for city and traveling around 100-200kms

Nostalgia! Nano was my first car in 2009. Used for 6 years at Kolkata. Everyone would stop their car and ask me about it: was it a petrol? How was the mileage etc. It was very stable at high 90-100 km speed, unlike maruti 800 (which i also drove). For a hefty person like me Nano was more comfortable to sit it. Visibility was great, the headlights threw good amount of light. In first gear could outrun other heavyweights in start stop traffic. For 6 years i owned it i never had any issues with it. Had to sell it when we got transferred to Bangalore.

From indica to nano to new range : the company has evolved to the next level. I learnt driving on indica and today I am very happy with my tigor, it has been three years and 33000 km but the car still seems new and always fun to drive.

I purchased a nano in 2015 , I really loved this car , it's space , driving eas , window area & driving poster are it's features , I had also maruti 800 & santro but my most loved car was nano.

Booked the Nano in 2008 when my Daughter was born (actually my Dad booked it as he reckoned 2 Wheeler not safe for a Baby). Got it only in 2009 due to production delay in Tata moving Nano plant from West Bengal to Gujarat. Drove it for 1.2 lakh kms until 2021. Got a mileage of 26kmpl (best among Petrol cars of the time) on highways at one point of time, but it dropped to 20kmpl by 2021. Cabin space was considerably more than my Dad's Alto. Used to beat the bigger cars on the road, both in city as well as State highways, not on the multi lane national highways though as the max comfortable speed was 90kms. For my 5 & 3/4 feet height, Nano was very comfortable with its tall-boy stance. It used to be amusing to see some of the 15lakh sedans struggling with the large speed breakers on state highways & local roads while my Nano would sneak past as a cake-walk! Servicing started getting poor though by Tata after the first 5 - 6 years. AC was particularly a pain point. Finally sold it for a decent 40k (on-road price in 2009 was 2lakhs) & got a Renault Triber again a tall-boy stance car albeit much bigger. Miss you Nano 😭. Thanks TATA for a memorable car that fills me with nostalgia 🙏.

I really missed my "Smiley Face" car. This was my first best car. I really missed it.

It's not coolant for water, that's fuel lead. Coolant is kept at back, near radiator

I still own this beauty. Got an avg of 32 kmpl while running it at 90-100 kmph on highway. Company guys were behind me for an interview. But it's a real shame that Indians failed Sh Tata in his dream project. Any western country would have shown it as a symbol of their engineering.

Very nice to see this video. I am using Nano Lx since 2015 and its superb product. My kids love it very much. I have driven it till 110 km/ph speed on express highway and still it perform so well. Very good road grip. Driving Nano is very easy and comfortable.

Tata presented this car as an alternative to two wheelers This was never an alternative to four wheeler owners Visionary man gave a good car to the people of india But Indians failed to grasp it I liked it then I like it now Always in my heart

This car was way ahead of its time , In an ideal future all city cars (self driving cars) will look like nano. This should've been successful and updated year after year ,its sad to let it go.

yes, nano was an engineering marvel in the automotive sector; Sadly wrong advertising Tag by company &mindset of Indian people (I am Indian ) Led to closure of what was an Very Special phenomenon ; If it were Launched in say japan\korea\europe- It would have become an icon; But nano may didn't achieve its sales goals, But it did it spiritually(creating a mindset of everyone wanting to own a car)(not as a stature symbol terms, but in as a automotive enthusiast ,the joy of Driving a Vehicle ) For the low\middle class families

But log h ki isko gareebo ki gaadi Bolte h ... I guess agar Tata isko minor change k sath aaj market me launch kre .. to this can be a different thing

Nano was not just a car...it was an emotion..so peppy to drive..loads of space.. perfect 4 seater..good in fuel efficiency.easy to park..it was just the '1lakh car' image which ruined it's legacy.. was considered a cheap car..but basically it was for common people..I think the company should have introduced more features and had launched at price of 1.25 lakhs,I got so upset when company decided to discontinue this fabulous product...😕😕😭

Who expects luxury in 1 lakh rupee car🤣🤣. Even iphone is more expensive.Anyhow tata has given us legendary cars and its build quality is superb when i saw a video of honda city accident with tata nano.Nano took the front bumper of the honda city with minor scratches on tata nano back side.Tata and Mahindra are great in build quality🇮🇳🙏👍

Driven on road, off road, hills plains, mud this car can go anywhere. Just in 500 rupees evry weekend I explored many places around Bangalore in this car .Now want to upgrade but emotionally very difficult for me to sell this gem.

Love the nano. Have a 2015 GenX . Run 85k now. Mostly used in Bangalore City . Few trips to Chennai, Chikmagalur etc. 1 mega trip bangalore-kanyakumari- Rameswaram- Velankanni- Bangalore - trip. 1900kms in 3 days. Matchless in the city . Love it!!!

Can a new car be launched quiet similar the size of nano? I feel there must be. To have a similar kind of car will provid less turning redius which will enable for a small parking area and may have good fuel economy etc.

Rachit, you got me nostalgic. Nano LX was my sister's first car and I used to love driving it. The AC was really powerful for its class and the turning radius made it a delight to drive in Delhi. Very comfortable for my height and visibility was as good as a convertible. :P I used to call it "Indian Ferrari" for its bright red colour and rear engine. A definite head turner!

I own this car. Bought a 2017 genx second hand top model. This car is the best. No tension of service cost, no tension of fuel economy. Excellent power, perfect off roader also. It's a magic car.

All reviewers who I've seen take a sort of recap of the nano don't take a look at the newer variants which has a trunk an automatic variant and great sound system. For 3.5 my dad bought the nano auto for my mom when I was in school so mom could drop and pick me up and now I drive it it's one of the most unique and spacious cars. I really love it and would keep it in the future if possible . It deserved to be a top seller or at least be the new rickshaw of India instead of bajaj qute. For people who want an actual spacious car for 4 people it's way better than the current offerings in terms of space and comfort. I still wonder how it would have evolved with tatas new design language the possibilities when it comes to facelifts and new generations.

I hv d same model getting mileage of 23-25 kmpl. I added AC n Music of Sony. I'm 6ft tall no problem while driving but speed must be at max 80,best is 50-60 kmphr. Built quality is very strong more than many small cars today. It should be relaunched..

It's my still dream to own Tata Nano, she is so little and cute😍

I had purchased Tata Nano Lx CNG in Jan'14. The best thing I liked was it used to start even without a drop of petrol, had outstanding mileage in CNG (running cost was around ₹2/- per km). Later I sold my existing i20 & purchased Nexon but my Nano was always fun to drive. I recall all those emergency U turns I had done with Nano on small roads. Especially I remember the U turn I took in one go alongwith my office colleagues on Dadar bridge.... very small turning radius. I have pretty maintained my Nano & was planning to sell it soon. But after watching your video, I felt nostalgic again & I've decided not to sell.

Nano EV would be a great addition to restore the nostalgia and in delivering EVs to every middle and lower middle class household. And putting a battery pack would give a lot of storage space for bags if not for trolley bags 💓

At 3:46 , that is not for coolant, its for petrol.I also have tata nano lx 2009 model. Bought it for 2.5 lakhs. Its a great car and my next car would also be from tata motors.

I am using fully loaded Tata Nano Twist XT 2015 top model Damson Purple colour.. power steering, F.Power Window, AC/Heater, theater diming light, Music system with 4speaker FM, USB, Aux, CD, Bluetooth connectivity with Calling, Digital MID display, Trip, Distance to empty, clock etc, 12V Power Socket, Parcel Tray, Power Door lock with Remote, Tubeless Radial tyre, Fog lamp, High mount stop lamp with spoiler... it is an awesome car to drive & dynamics, superb comfortable car.. from Siliguri, I went to Darjeeling, Mirik, Gangtok, Kalimpong, Pedong & even Tiger Hill... Thank you for this awesome review.. I m a big fan of yours.. but just for your information that you have mentioned Coolent in 3.48 mintues.. but It is actually Petrol Filling pipe. 😀

My favorite car mere paas abhi bhi ye car hai 2012 model LX verient 22000 km running

its an amazing car. i used this for 7 yrs and it was just mind blowing, so spacious and great off road car. Then i purchased Grand i10 and felt sorry for this change of decision, thought I10 is a very nice product but still Nano is way ahead in build quality, ground clearance, off road driving and interior space.

Been over 11yrs since first bought the Tata Nano CX it has run over 1lakh+ still feels great to drive , never felt any discomfort at all . It is still spacious and comfortable than many cars nowadays tbh

I just exchanged the Tata Nano 2010 LX( Top Model) 2days ago with S presso.. And now watching this🙂 Edit 1: The bumpers are made of plastic but was the hardest part of the car.. Once we Crashed with a car..( didn't remember what) with the bumper of Nano..the car got big dent but Nando's Bumper didn't had a single scratch at all..We were awestruck.. Also people on road didn't believe that Nano hit that car😂 coz we didn't even have a scratch 😂😂

His promise is a solid promise. A value for money from the day you use it. Honestly speaking, there are costly cars with features we hardly use. But Tata showed THE VALUE OF AN ESSENTIAL CAR should be. Hats Off !! Thanks so much bhaiya for this video !!

I still own a Tata nano 2013 model. I still drive +1200 kms per month in western ghats and it is just awesome car. Thank you @MotorOctane for this review on Tata nano. This car is perfect example for don't judge a book by its cover.

Had a 2012 model Nano as my 2nd car specially for my parents movement as I was always out with my car. Used it for 7 years and exchange it for a Tiago in December 2019. Once hit a police road crossing kiosk at high speed but Luckily I was totally unscathed. Loved my Nano. I still think it was an excellent car at its price.

I feel proud to own it from 2012..never gives a problem even if i start once in a month..Height is superb..many of my friends enjoy its ride also say that its more comfortable than any hatchback...

This was my first car. I learn by my own on this without any guidance. We all friends went on trip on this car on hill and believe me performance was Amazing. My friend was so impressed that he he bought this car in 2017. Great product by TATA. I wish it should come back atleast in EV version.

Safest Car during accidents. As see in ur Nano Car i had problem of severe rusting inside the front bonnet. Second problem is leakage started in top junction of side beam of glass, Then wiring problem so repeated missing spark problem

In the front Frank where u told the coolant. It's for the petrol. You should feel the petrol from front. Coolant space is behind the back seat near the engine.

I bought Nano in 2011 it was my 1st car.... I replaced it with the newer model in 2017 and I am happy to use it everyday because of the increased traffic and parking problems.... Its just so city friendly to use and love the performance of the AC as well..... Wish it was still in production I would surely repalce my current Nano with a newer one but sadly its going to happen so I wish to enjoy and keep it as long as I can.
