It's damm shame that it took 5 decades to finish the the project whose importance was Identified way long ago. It's a wonder of TATA they completed this project with zero fatality and within it's time frame. That's huge achievement in our country. Tata is truly a backbone of India.
Now that explains how this project got completed in such a record time, all thanks to Daewoo E&C, a South Korean construction giant which has absolutely perfect track record so far, have seen how they (and Hyundai E&C, didn't get a chance to work with Samsung C&T though) work in several gulf countries. These three companies all originates in SA but have successfully delivered some of THE most challenging and crucial construction projects on planet by continuously evolving over the time period.
Big corporations are necessary if you want to compete globally and bring money into the economy by exporting stuff. People shouldn't lash out on TATA, Adani, Jio, Bajaj etc
