Bhai bahut hi informative video banay, each and every aspect covered.. Well, I am little confused wether to go for Nexon, brezza or punch. I have budget of 6-8 lakhs. I want to purchase base model from this three.. first decided abt punch but after seeing the video of your and ravi bhai telling abt center locking safety issue..then I felt let's go for Nexon, obviously it's a great carz but average is on down side.. in most videos I hear from the owner that Nexon will give 10-13 in city.. then I consider brezza. Brezza base 4 power windows, music system they gave but 4 star safety ratings... And also now a days they are charging too high on service.. I live in ahmedabad gujarat. Nexon base with only mud flap and matting accessories it costs me approx 8.. punch 6.34 without bargain.. and brezza without bargain at 8.30.. all comes with standard insurance with 1 year additional nil dep cover .. I have one kid and another we are expecting in may-22. So, we will be 5 family members with my mother age 62.. punch almost finalised but after its lock issue. I am little worried if child opens the door while driving what can happen we everybody know.. that the thing which is hampering me and it's effect is that I am thinking of streching my budget upto 8 lakhs. Otherwise punch is sufficient for my family...any thing after market can be done abt this lock issue.? Also kindly tell me that sadab bhai has installed music system from outside.. does this void our warrenty. Because I also want to purchase base model and will install music system and touch screen infotainment.. Pls suggest me what should I do and which car should I select. You can suggest any other car out this three car.. awaiting for your reply... such a wonderful video, I absolutely loved this... And very honest.. pls help me.. I have a punch AMT which was delivered to me on 28th Oct. I have driven it for over 6400km in two months. It had the following problems. 1. Heating when a/c is in low cool casuing huge drop in milage(10-11km) or a/c is in low cool. At full cool the milage is good(14-15 in city) 2. Fuel indicator not indicating full when fuel is fully topped up. 3. Can't mute central locking. 4. Boot not unlocking with remote. 5. Rattling noise from dash board. Till now Tata are not ready to open a job card for the a/c problem 😭😭.

I like seeing ur videos...but surprised to see comments on door lock from you...U being a blogger should get to the root of the topic rather than simply putting it as cost cutting measure...Tata's are not fool to do so...Here is what I have explained to other youtubers as well...hope it helps ur viewers: Bhai...koi unsafety nahi hai...it's just the way Indians are used to seeing extra latch on doors...Try to get to the root of situation: I will simplify so that it's easier for ur viewers...First, all these concerns are only for children's, adults have smart brain to understand that they are not supposed to open gate while moving...coming to children's: there are two categories...naughty kids which are always supposed to sit at back and we should put child lock..bcoz these naughty fellows can even put the latch up(traditional method) and open door...second are kids who listens to parents and they know what they are supposed to do and not in a moving car. This category is fine to sit at front or rear. Coming to why Tata gave this kind of lock...They are not the only manufacturers...U will find this in Ford and several other manufacturers(also the best seller on Indian roads Polo)...even some models of Maruti... Basically this kind of locks are used by European manufacturers and TATA having its latest cars on Alpha platform derived from JLR are following the same..They are safe when we know how to safely stay in car...Features like Speed sensing auto lock...Impact sensing Auto un-lock are very useful... People can keep on debating on this topic..but I shared the view after good amount of research and hope it helps ur viewers..All the best!!
Ok...for so called clutch issue in ur video... The thing is if you know the mechanical concept behind clutch...then the working happens only when u press the clutch pedal...there is nothing mechanically happening when u lift it up except the clutch wire relaxes to a little extent and has no issue...Now coming to the question on why Tata designed like this...again first and foremost ..before doubting or calling as issue think once that there are great mind behind designs of car...In this case they have designed like this to prevent mishap when someone has bad habit of putting the leg underneath the pedal...in other cars ur leg will get jammed or locked and u can panic..in Punch since pedal goes up ..ur legs will be free and u can then press the pedal properly by bringing leg on top of pedal... Proper drivers will have no concern as we are either supposed to put leg on dead pedal or behind the clutch pedal when not using clutch...Hope it helps u and ur viewers🙂

Tata punch is an amazing vehicle..the only problem is mileage.. please anyone suggest the exact mileage in city and on Highway..day by day petrol price is rapidly increasing..one can easily buy car but if Its having very less mileage how one can accommodate with this ??
Got new info about the fiat engine and rear door lock mechanism and clutch play. Had not seen elsewhere. Good observation by the owner. And actually, child lock will be a separate lever present on the rear door side where it locks on to the Body. One has to open the door to see it. Atleast it was that way in older cars. I have not checked in current gen cars.
Update - took a test drive. And actually that fiat India label visible when you peep inside engine bay is for a component asm made by Fiat. The engine casting has tata logo marking only so it's Tata made engine and not fiat's
bro there is an child lock in rare at door lock side there is an on off black button then than both door control comes to the dirver side . plzz check the details and conform that plzzzz....
Seems the Clutch Issue is inherent... My 2011 model Tata Vista TDI has the same issue with the clutch. Had checked with other Vista owners who reported the same. This has never created any issues till date while driving.

I am from Hyderabad and I own a Tata PUNCH top model and I am not able to find accessories for punch like diffusers and chrome kit and spoilers. If you can recommend me any tata store who can provide those accessories with courier facility to Hyderabad that would be really helpful to me. Thanks again

engine is not from fait, some parts are from fiat...the engine is developed by Tata and assembled by fiat..i really wish the engine was developed by fiat, than it would have been an awesome engine.

The rear door will not open due to central locking if at speed above 20 where the door auto locks or you lock it by using central locking button i.e. driver lock mechanism.

Budget is 8-9, buying from CSD, running will be less than 500 km/ month in Himachal village, petrol variant, IMT/AMT, pakka roads with few rough patches, good ground clearance, first time driver, safety is the top most priority. Nexon, Brezza and i20 are a few options in mind. Ok with both SUV and hatchback. People complain about Nexon engine so little confused. Please suggest. Thanks in advance
I20 is out of option. Choose between NEXON and Brezza. If you have Tata service centre near and do not mind a little bearable noise then go for NEXON. If Maruti service centre is near you and need a little better engine and can compromise a bit in Handling, suspension and comfort , go for Brezza . Both are good with its own pros and cons

Altroz is more premium with a little more rear space but PUNCH also attracts you because of its Ground clearance and tall look. Honestly, I would be confused between these two as well. If I have to pick one then I would go with PUNCH because of its GC and tall look. All the best!
Actually its not like "thoda sa noise" in Tata petrol engines. It is a lot of noise and harshness at higher rpm. Interior rattling is less in Tata compared to Maruti and Hyundai. Projectors actually cut down on lumen output so same bulb feels dimmer in projectors especially in low beam.

Lag jata hai Brother, agar original tata nahi to 3rd party wala mil jata haio unke paas. Agar budget hai to Adventure + Rhytm le lo (7 inch harman with 2 tweeters and reverse camera)

I think there is a child lock feature for Rear Door. Try to engage it & then check if you are able to open the door from inside or not. Note: Its available at Rear Door just like Indica. My family first car was Indica Xeta GLS so I know about it. Currently my Mother has the same top end automatic same color & I had gone through the manual & found that there is a child lock feature. Please check & explore & reply if it was helpful or not, because I've not tried in Punch so far. I own a VW Ameo Diesel which does not have this feature & as you said in the video that its really dangerous for kids as they can open the door.
Yes they r there in the rear small black colored... but do we really have to use them by opening the entire door b lock it... that's the issue... plus thus unlock things happens very easily... a chain by mistakely can pull it out
All Tata vehicles engines are provided by fiat not from now but as long as I know. Now safari n all engines are of fiat. As I owned Tata 2007 I know. But someone told me that Maruti n Hyundai cars engines are from fiat only. Which I am not sure as I had fiat palio 1.2 it had quite some issues at around 50-60k which we often don't see with marutis with that milage. N interestingly the 1.3 LTR engine Mercedes is using these days is from Renault.
