Thank you very I have seen many reviews where they show amt cars review on flat roads, but you are the first one who has shown on hills. I really appreciate you and would thank you also. I was planning to take wagon r amt, but heard a lot of stability issues in that car with body roll over things as 60 kmpl also. Now I have made mind of Tiago for its safety with 4 star rating

Thank you for ur indepth review on Tiago AMT on hills. Now I have 2 queries. 1. Can we change from city/sports mode to Manual mode seamlessly while car is running at high speed? 2. In the absence of Hill Assist in Tiago amt, is there any trick or something like that except the use of hand brake to prevent rolling back when the car is stuck in traffic jam or slow moving stop and go traffic on the hills?

1. City/Sports mode has nothing to do with Manual/Automatic mode. The first pair are for performance, the next pair are for if you want to control the gears manually or not. 2. Hill climb assist holds the car only for a couple of seconds when at a slope. In AMT, you don’t have to mess with clutch. As you release brake from your one leg, push the accelerator slowly accordingly. As you release the brake, the accelerator will move the car forward.

I bought a Tata Tiago XZA Petrol AMT (top-end varient)(on road price Rs. 8,50,000/-), 3 months ago. I'm not satisfied with the performance of the engine and auto gear (AMT) system. The accelerator gives annoying vibration feeling while driving on highways at a constant speed. The local service centre is unable to detect the fault. It appears a product design or built quality issue. Earlier I was driving Maruti Celerio AMT and was completely satisfied with its performance.
