Tata Trucks | Driver Monitoring System 

I am happy for 2 reasons.. 1) TATA's focus on safety. 2) "Panchayat" team getting recognition.

_Being a son of a truck owner, I appreciate this innovation, and am grateful to TATA that my father is carrying out his business operations for 21+ years smoothly_ 💕

-Are they the “Panchayat” cast? -Kudos to the basic level ADAS system from TATA.

This was literally my master's project in 2015. It took this long to be implemented commercially :)

If govt mandates to install Driver monitoring in all the trucks and if the system force the drivers to take a short nap if he dozes then it will be effective. Most of the drivers will continue to drive even if they are tired so as to achieve targets.

Me and my friend develop same project in college in year 2017 but we both are fail due to some glitch and lack of automation knowledge but tata never fails....hats off to tata motors

we can only expect such great things implemented by TATA motors only, really a great initiative by TATA MOTORS

My friend also made this project in her final sem, driver drowsiness system, it plays a crucial role while driving at nights great to see that TATA is the first one in India to implement it.

Kudos TATA team👍 This device should be cost effective and must come as default in new trucks and must be implemented in older trucks/cars as well... The alarm should sound differently each time so that driver's mind does not get used to the same alarm sound when its get activated... Also this device should be made available in Highway toll booths and stores...

This is great initiative by TATA group However our soul focus should be on the root cause i.e. why are the drivers sleepy most of the time? How should the social structure change that they get enough sleep and can focus on the journey naturally?

When TATA says desh ka truck ... You real feel within, yes!. They are saying from bottom of the heart and not just a mere advertisement strategy.

This system must be installed in all Uber & Ola Cars. In a recent Ola Trip, my driver almost hit the road divider after he fell asleep in middle of a busy highway. It was one of the most terrible rides.

TaTa is the only brand that is delivering quality products in every field.

Would be great if this system can be retro fitted in older trucks as well and be made compatible with trucks of all makes

I didn't like the narration where it says "ab aapka truck rahega safe." Don't forget the driver. This excellent innovation will keep the drivers, the truck and other vehicular traffic on the road safe. Very good innovation. TATA leads the way in terms of safety standards.

When am in my b.tech I proposed Sleep detection and barrier detection devices to truck, my guide refused to take it forward and criticized me to do something make sense.. Finally now tata implemented this 💜.....

This is very good , one of the trucks from our company left the road and fell into road side ditch after driver slept , thankfully no one was i njured but 14 AC were damaged
