Silva's boxing technique is good and with good sparring against seasoned top ten boxers he would go the 6, 8, or 10 rounds against Toney and would do well against Roy Jones. I think he should fight tough trail horse Glen Johnson....that would be an excellent boxing debut for Silva and we could see how far he would go as a pure boxer. Any say Kelly Pavlik?

@higgytime no silva is actually a great boxer and he has boxed before. When you throw him in a ring against a guy and tell him that theres no threat of takedowns or knees or kicks your telling me he wouldnt do good?? Have you not seen him matrix punches all day?

I think anderson silva is the greatest fighter of the moment and he can defeat the ass off anyone in the world which would want to fight him. In the street, in a ring or in any other sport anderson silva can fuck off any oponent.

I love Anderson and still believe he is the goat but watching this is frustrating. he trains to block punches why not fucking try it next time. the reality being that if he beats Weidman in the rematch and then wins a few more in impressive fashion the loss to Weidman will be remembered as a silly mistake and he may redeem his credibility as a great in most peoples eyes. also how frustrating for his coaches.
