From my surface level research I’ve learnt that this painting supposedly depicts a Tatar “Chambul,” that is a sort of diversionary raid into enemy territory meant to draw the bulk of any defensive army’s attention onto the Chambul so that the main horde can plunge deeper into vulnerable, and wealthier, countryside. @@hudai7994 Türkiyede konuşulan ve adına "Türkçe" denilen dil esasında Tatarca'nın Anadolu şivesidir. Bu yüzden bazı kelimeler benziyor. Fakat halk arasında konuşulan Kırım Tatarca biraz daha orijinaldir. Gramer yapısı farklıdır. Ben Kırım Tatarca konuştuğum zaman Anadolu insanı çok az anlıyor.

@@hudai7994 Dil konusunda, Türkiye'de tek partili komünist hükümet döneminde yasaklar vardı. Türkiye'de 1950 yılına kadar devlet okullarında Tatarca konuşmak yasaktı. Sovyet hükümetinin Tatar dilini yok etme, yok edilemeyecek yerlerde ise değiştirme politikası o yıllarda ülkemize de sıçradı. Artık bu konuda özgürlük var. Ama Tatarca konuşan genç kalmadı. Şimdi Türkiye'de ve Kırım'da dilimizi değiştirmeye çalışanlar var. Kırım Tatar dili olarak tanıtılan dil ile gerçek Kırım Tatar dili tamamen farklıdır.

Bugün "Türkçe" denilen dilden Arapça, Farsça ve Latince kelimeleri çıkarırsanız, geriye Tatar dilinin Anadolu şivesi kalır. Örneğin: Sibirya Tatarlarının ana dili Tatar dilinin Sibirya lehçesidir. Ana dilim Tatar dilinin Kırım şivesidir. Bu dillerin tamamı Tatar dilinden türemiş olsa da aralarında bazı farklılıklar bulunmaktadır. Anadilde eğitimin her insanın hakkı olduğunu düşünüyorum. Umarım önümüzdeki günlerde devletimiz vatandaşlarının bu temel insan hakkından vazgeçmez. Ben gelecekte genel eğitim okullarında herkesin anadilinde eğitim göreceğine inanıyorum.

@@user-dh2kf8lw4s There more then enough evidence for the word "Mongol" you can look up the secret history and other places to search it(obviously a "nation" did not exist before advent of Nationalism,clan/family relations/religion mattered more before but the language and general people existed).The modern Day Tatars became a unique identity seperate from the rest as result of the Golden Horde,the Golden horde was from the start a fusion of Mongols(Mongols are not only Khalkha)and Kipchak Turks,Many nations have several interchangeable names to describe more or less the people,Iran/Persia,Jewish/Israel,Hind/bharat,Greece called themselves for thousands of years Romaoi(Romans)and Hellos(Greeks) in thd same breath,those words don't replace each other,they both just exist.The word Tatar in the original sense we talk about represents another name for the Mongols/Mongol Empire(in Western parts)so if you were a "Tatar" you probably from that rulling class of the Mongols,maybe even Genghis Khan decendent.Mongol tribes assimilated with Turkic people all throughout this time one example famous example is Timur,I agree in the Modern sense Tatars are just unique identity.
