I was a sucker and ended up buying a Tatcha moisturizer, the Indigo overnight repair. It’s fragrance free. Immediately after applying it my skin stung and the next morning I woke up and my entire neck was swollen. It looked like there had been a wire around my neck. Soooooo needless to say, I’m not a fan of Tatcha.
The Camellia oil’s selling point is that a double cleanse isn’t needed. It rinses with water unlike most other cleansing oils. I agree with you on the Essence. It only felt like water on my skin.
I always have a few cleansing oils in rotation. Most of the better ones don’t require a second cleanse, though even the very inexpensive Hada Labo doesn’t either. I love the Tacha one, but it is kind of overpriced, so I only use it when I’m not wearing much makeup….I’d like to try the cleansing balm eventually.
