I had not heard of Tate McRae before, she has an early noughties vibe for me. Although she doesn’t sound like her, I think Tate’s dance performance and routine reminded me of a very early Christina Aguilera. Possibly even Britney Spears. I have to be honest and say I think for me the song was OK, but didn’t grab my attention as much the slickness and energy of the performance. She didn’t seem to have any nerves which was cool. I think she needs a stronger song to really highlight her vocals better and bring out the fire.

Yes totally agree Raye is so deserving of attention from reactors. How she was held back by her record company and the music industry was so soul destroying for her, but she got the last laugh because she stuck to her belief in herself and worked relentlessly to achieve it.
