Sometimes a majority of the acts are so extravagant and full of energy that many voters go for the slow, calm acts where the song is in focus. Arcade is a great such song and so is Portugal’s winner from 2017. Two very different songs, but just two men with a stage, wonderful vocals and great songwriting.
@@MariaCarabinyou mean Billboard Hot 100? Nope not true. But I think it was the first Eurovision song to enter the chart since the 90s with UK's Ooh Aah... Just a Little Bit. There were songs already as well like Eres tú and Waterloo that previously reached the top 10 of the BB Hot 100. ☺️ If you're talking about Billboard's Global 200 chart, I think Snap at least charted.

@@MariaCarabin tattoo didn't chart in the BB Hot 100 unfortunately. Neither did it even reach the bubbling charts but like that's the common trend for Eurovision winners. Only Arcade was the exception. Maneskin made some splash after winning but that's more from their Beggin' cover.
