Just discovered your channel a few weeks ago and uncannily enough mentioned to a couple of the guys at work about your all out tomahawk video,, turns out the two coolest guys there have already watched and subscribed,, salute to you ,, a breath of fresh air and an enjoyable watch.
Another awesome video. Not long after I started in the scouts, would have been late 80’s, I went on my first district camp which was held at Somerset Christian camp, down the road from this spot. This was before the M1 freeway was finished so all the trucks used to head up the Putty road. We arrived into camp after dark and you could see the orange side lights on all the trucks up above us on the putty road and as the road is undulating I thought the camp was really cool as it had a chair lift.
Maybe a collaboration with MCM Marty and Moog when you make it to Sydney. Just like you a love of Delica’s and camping, not to mention Japanese culture. They would go for a seared steak for certain.
Loving the Searing sounds and also the sensitivity of your microphone. The chewing and swigging sounds are the next best thing to actually eating it through the screen!
So simple, but that looks soooo good! Now I have to explain to my wife why I need an Hibachi 😂 The seared salmon with the blowtorch looked good, but I’d try the same with the steak.
I find it incredibly amusing that in I don't know how many episodes you have forgotten the chop sticks. This time you remember the chop sticks, forgot everything else, then don't even use them to eat with. 😂 Also prefer the seared Salmon.
It wouldn’t be a Fire to Fork episode if you didn’t forget to bring something 😅. Another great one. “Eared” I forgot to bring the “s” hahahaha “Seared”
I seared what you did here, I approve. Will be making this for some friends this weekend. The only thing close to (better than)? something done well is something new done well.
That is a fantastic take on sushi steak and potatoes Harry. Another take is you could use a mandolin and slice the potatoes thin and then "seared" on the grill.
Great improvising, looks yummy. I didn’t realise men got baby brain too 🤣 Hope more sleep is not too far away for you all. I always thought it was scollop in Australia.
The forgotton tools etc wasnt the surprising thing for me, it was you drinking water, i thought you were just beer and a bit of blood 🤣 ahahahahahahahahaha
I bought your awesome book, !, please post more recipes on your website, and please don’t make me have to go eat at Outback Restaurants in the North American! Listen y’all Fire to Fork is the Real Deal, keeping your food to yourself and enjoy being outdoors and cook any 4 / 8 hour Italian Sunday super you like! Keep it fun!
That looked really good, and trail friendly. Seared Halloumi cheese would be a nice addition. This will be a must try on my next overnighter. Thanks for sharing.
when i see your clips it makes me Sea Red because i wish i was back in my home state again. great clip and great food. have with the sleepless nights thanks from FIJI
We have a rule in our family that a maximum of 11 gems per head per feed! Am so trying both seared then blow torched. Congratulations on the arrival of your new little legs.
Love the technique as always Harry, we watch you everyday. Going to have to try some salmon seared as you’ve done it in this video, looks absolutely delicious!! Thank you. 🥰
Was entertaining to watch another Harry “forgotten” episode, still say you need that or a similar code word, but you coped like all of us who regularly camp, use what you have. How did the “seared” prawns go, I imagine they were magic.
One of the reasons I always love to go camping. I have my own stuff, always the same gear with me and I know where to find it... :P Maybe you need some duplicates of some things do you don't have to get stuff out of the Prado xD
Love this idea I’ve thought about sushi in the bush so many times but way to hard this t I think I’ll try, especially the blow torched stuff at the end*seared*
Pronounced scAllop, but we’re lazy in Aus and pronounce it scOllop. Lightly seared, the scallop won’t care. Love the hibachi grill, great piece of kit.
