I hope everyone enjoys my superb voice over work in this one 😂. If you haven't watched episodes 1-4 definitely check those out. The final episode will be coming soon. Thanks for watching! 👊
😂 thanks! I see a lot of moto videos with inspirational voice overs but I think it's a little bit much for a motorcycle video and I always think hell it's just motorcycle riding 😂🤣
I wonder if the bugs are less common in the winter. I have camped in the Everglades in January, but when I went down to clap in May, I could not stand the bugs. - Frank
Yes the bugs pretty much go away in the winter. I want to go back to the panhandle to explore more but it will be in the winter next time. To hell with bugs!! 😂
Interesting stuff... You are living my dream... I love solo riding, go where you want, stop when you want, go at your own pace.... Keep up the good work....
@@TheBeardedGrump We got a big cave just a mile away with lots of civil war artifacts still in it, 40 some miles of passages! And you rocked the voice-over...
Apalachicola Forest if the bigfoot capital of Florida, me and my brother would bigfoot hunt in there, never saw a bigfoot there, but it's full of bear!
@@TheBeardedGrump We seen something big, walking upright in the Ocala National Forest, if defiantly wasn't a person, but we were to far away from it, but get eaten up with tics every time we go there.
@@9milsOn2wheels I think the scenery in Ocala but the sand was too deep to have much fun riding my big bike. Now I'm interested in going back there too just to explore more lol. That video is on here too. Episodes 1 and 2 of the Florida Adventure Trail
Great video. You made me giggle listening to your voice over. I hate doing them and I can never remember what I was talking about at the time. Hence the music portion of the video.
Thanks! That's why I started talking about look at that guy and his mustache 😂. I miss spoke about the bridge and just rolled with it 🤣. I don't ever write anything down and probably never will. It's all about shooting from the hip around here 😁
Good Ride Greg, Most places are nice enough to stash a helmet for you, but a top case keeps looking better. The humidity is a killer, I made it a point to drink a Qt bottle of water on every second gas stop or 250 miles, carrying those electrolyte packets helps too, The cave tour was cool, but your voice overs were hysterical. Thank you for taking use along, very cool.
I have a bad habit of not drinking enough water no matter what I'm doing. I guess I get focused on what I'm doing and just forget to drink. Thanks I didn't know if anyone would like the voice overs are not 😂
The caverns were really cool to see. Bummer that the bugs were brutal out in the woods. Looks like some nice areas to camp. Dehydration will sneak up on you especially in such a humid area. Great video!!
Those yellow flies were terrible at that bridge. I'm bad about not drinking enough water no matter what I'm doing and I need to start reminding myself to drink more. Thanks man. I really appreciate it 👊
Man I hate that when I lose my audio of my vlog. I've got to get a new Digital Recorder just for that purpose, I can't depend on GoPro. Yeah, I don't think I would like to camp there with the snakes and gators! Man, that is some dark water. You got me scratching talking about the yellow flies! Im still waiting for you to walk up on a gator. Cool shots the cave. I'de be wanting to fly my done inside! Nice job, look forward to seeing more of your work.
I recently replaced my mic with a purple panda mic and I now have way better audio. The gators and snakes really don't bother me it's all the bugs that drive me crazy 🤣 In episode 4 I walked up on a gator. He was coming right towards me and it scared the 💩 out of me for a second. The cave was a nice break from the heat and bugs. Thanks and thanks for watching. I really appreciate it 👊
Of you need to walk in your moto boots, I recomend the Alpinestars Tech 7. I bought them after seeing how well the hinge worked for RU-vidr Timmy Simpson. They are great when walking! 😜 - Frank
@@TheBeardedGrump Yeah, my Tech 3s and pretty comfortable ... but the SQUEAK! I've started squirting WD40 in the offending areas. So far still squeak-squeak. S
Hi Greg, I picked up a pair of Alpinestars SMX3 boots, kind of an above the ankle leather road race looking boot that I have been wearing for more street rides, Good protection over a hiking boot, and they zip up on the sides and have Velcro closures over that, they were comfortable to wear all day, and walking around is possible. Great 80/20 boot if you're doing more road riding. best part is they were worn once and were $50 bucks on craigslist.
That was a great episode Greg, love the caves. I feel for you riding in the heat really sappy the energy after awhile. Got to catch up with the other video.
Thanks man. I really appreciate it. It was a good day on the bike except for the bugs lol. Going on the cave tour was cool and was a nice break from the heat. Definitely if you get time check out the other episodes. Congrats on 1000 subs man! 👊💥
I live in North Florida and hate it in the woods for all but January and February. It is so frustrating due to the damn bugs. Is it that bad in South Carolina where you are from?
This video - the flies - is a PTSD event for me. I grew up around there - hunting and fishing - and have been in some unbearable circumstances in the Apalacicola Forest - mosquitos so thick you have cover your nose and mouth to breath. It's tough to see too. The sound makes your eyes water. Terrible. But, yellow flies? Holey hell, you cannot feel them land on you - you only know when they bite. F_________k!!! They are the worst in spring, blackberry season. At least with a horse fly you can feel it land.
It was my old mic. I threw it in the trash when I got home from this trip and bought a different one. The new one has way better audio. It's my luck for it to take a $hit on my biggest trip of the year 😂
Any tips for this? I’m planning on going over the Christmas break and I’m on a fully loaded GSA so I want to avoid the sand from the start of this trip you did, so I was thinking of following the SE Adventure Trail to the start at the panhandle end and then bailing as it gets into the peninsula and gets sandy, and going up through Georgia to pick up southern end of the SM500.
All the deep sand is on the east coast. The panhandle is great riding and scenery. Make sure you go through Big Bend and check out Shired island. I haven't ridden the Pensacola part yet but from what I have seen it's not deep sand so it should be fun to ride.
