In Japanese, YOUTH is written as "青春". This "青" also means "blue”. Therefore, from a Japanese point of view, the "blue" part of the lyrics "Even now, blue resides" alone can mean "Gojo and Geto's youth”. Got this from a comment from another video and it really shows the context of the song.

I’d recommend also listening to regular full version of the song, it has a very different vibe than the first take version which is a lot more emotional sounding where as the original sounds a lot more upbeat which imo beautifully contrasts with the lyrics. Also another big song of his is ‘Scar’ and also ‘Rapport’ which are more of a rock song.

I suggest a Swedish artist, Thorstein Bergman with Helgdagskväll i timmerkojan. Text by Dan Andersson (1915) and music by Sven Scholander (1923). It's about the hard life for the charcoals in the big and deep forests. Therefore they are dreaming a lot. Suggestive nature scenes in the text. It's Thorsteins debut. Before he had only sing in the kitchen. What a debut! The tv-program is Hylands hörna, and it's from 1965. Thorstein was 22 years old. Rest in peace Thorstein (1942-2022).
