Such a shame that Tattletail never continued on from this point. Honestly aside from some weird gameplay decisions, Tattletail could have still been popular with all the other games like Fnaf and stuff. But hey, I guess Tattletail does still show one interesting thing. What happens when a game stops getting support after years. Looking at the search results for this game is like an drained river. You can still see some of the life in there, but now it’s completely lost all its life. No more content(apart from maybe one or more videos), and all the viewers who were so invested have now moved on. It’s both depressing, but also fascinating...
What i wonder, now that i discovered way late about this route, is how would they have continued tattletail? I think this little adventure tro some "mess memory" thing was interesting and the end was nice, but what's next? The only thing i could think of is Mamas or more of the company backstory, but with the fact that our protagonist is a kid, how would that work? A new protagonist¿ I don't know, what i mean is i think the game is ok as it is
I’m so glad the ending wasn’t a cheap jump scare like “oh no you messed up your memory and you accidentally switched tattletail and mama!” But instead it’s just a cute little message :D
The blue eyed Tattletail sounds like he knows nothing about Mama. The green eyed tattletail sounds like he's had to deal with her for multiple years, relentlessly trying to get into the fridge, wait on his charging pod and roll around with his brush to have his needs met all while avoiding mama. Like surviving her has become more of a skill for him.

This game was so great at the time, and it's fandom was full of life and creativity. Now look at it. Most don't even remember Tattletail anymore, and those who do barely play it. It's quite sad.
Considering that the note guy can take you back in time, and can summon an entrance to *The Kaleidoscope,* I think he may be some deity of some sort that still fell victim to *The Kaleidoscope’s* powers.
Makes sense considering in the last note they say "You did alot better than I did" Which could mean what you said.. Just a poor person who got stuck in that dream like reality. But at the same time, it could be a soul that was k!lled by mama, that helped you out while you dreamed, because it does mention memories alot in the notes. And the "until next time" in the last note makes no sense whatsoever. Wouldn't you hope to not see that person again? Hmm...
I remember having a nightmare shortly after this DLC came out and it was pretty much me exploring the Kaleidoscope. It had literally everything in the same place and same music. Well when I get to the living room all the lights shut off and then all I can see is Mama’s red eyes coming from across the room. Just then I wake up
My theory is that the Kaleidoscope was never a place where memories were stored, it was the place where Mama was banished to. Waygetter used the protagonist as a test dummy to try and free Mama from the Kaleidoscope.

This DLC is literally my biggest phobia. The "Night 1" jumpscare nearly gave me heart failure. I generally handle horror games well, but I just couldn't do this one.
I’m glad Tattletail ended on a good note instead of continuing on with a bunch of different sequels and becoming over saturated like a lot of other indie horror games
*My theory: The person who sent the letters was Papa.* *What if papa got lost in the kaleidoscope? It would explain why he knows so much about it, and why he says “You did better then I did.”* *Also pretty much the only reason why he helped you was because tattletail was a part of it.*

Plot twist!: The person giving you the notes is actually TattleTail except it's not fully TattleTail and the person giving you notes got trapped in the Kaleidoscope and mama caught them and their soul is stuck in TattleTail but you had better luck than them so your free.
I found out about tattletail at a young age.It still haunts me till this day now that I’ve found it again.To be honest I like watching horror games, especially this one. Idk why ;( :) :) :) :) I love horror movies and stuff I guess 0-0 😁
