This felt like the Celtics didn't realize they were down 1 in the final seconds of the 4th. They played that like it was tied with 6:32 left in the 3rd. INCREDIBLE.
3:03. the Nets and Celtics in 30 seconds. Both teams were in the same position to win the game The Nets watched Kyrie go 1-on-5. Durant didn't cut, didn't do anything to get open, so takes a bad shot. The Celtics pass, post, make sure everybody touches the ball. Tatum cuts to the rim, and takes a great shot, the winning shot. You didn't need to watch the game, just the final 30 seconds.
Good call...Tatum and KD were in the exact same positions in those two plays. Tatum had his head turned and KD could have cut but he stood and watched.
You needed to watch at least the last half to put the last shot in context. What about Kyrie going insane in the fourth quarter? He brought them to that point almost singlehandedly.
@@winh998 agreed, the big plot point is: Celtics up by 11 at the top of the 4th Q and still needed a crazy buzzer beater to win. I don't know whether to say the Celtics blew that lead, or the Nets clawed their way back in, or Kyrie mounted that comeback singlehandedly. Seems like Tatum fell asleep on offense for much of the fourth.
The Celtics played so damn aggressive, the Nets had 7 turnovers at the end of the first quarter, then at the end of the game Tatum just shocks the whole arena. Celtics are my favorite NBA team.
Marcus smart had a GREAT game,he the main reason the celtics won this one, making big plays down the strech and giving us an 11 point lead at the end of the 3rd,keep it up marcus
@@haroldcasado9090 definitly had a big impact dominating the offensive board but I feel like robert williams would've provided more rim protection, smart hit 3 straight threes and had a steal for a fastbreak dunk giving the celtics an 11 point lead late in the 3rd,he kept the game close when the nets came back in the 4th and made the right play under pressure hitting tatum on the cut for the game winner, horford had a good game too,but smart was more valuable tonight
@@TR-cg1qv yea thats true actually i had made a quick store run at the end of the 3rd so i missed those few sequences. Yes we need that Rim Protection definitely. The problem is our 4th quarter meltdowns. Thank God for that 11 point lead because we would have lost bad if not Go Celtics 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽☘️☘️☘️
People need give credit to Horford’s defense. He saw Smart lose a bit a footing against Irving and sprinted to with the help defense to let him recover. Then he finishes with another double team and a huge rebound over Claxton.
The old Celtics someone would have chucked up a contested shot. Brown and smart would’ve taken their shot a season ago. This just shows how much they’ve changed
@@figgahh5823 remember when tatum didn’t even run down the court when kemba missed against the lakers? i was thinking the same thing. this was our best freestyle last second play in a longgg time
GREAT GAME.. BROWNS AGGRESSIVE MOVES SAVED THE CELTICS AFTER THEY GAVE UP THE LEAD TO A NON DEFENSIVE NETS TEAM. THIS GAME HAD ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT😁
seriously. KD zoned out LOL. that's what happens when you take leads for granted. Kyrie was in no-man land, couldve taken a step up. Those 2 nets defender who ran at smart was a dumb move. Both trying to be heros... The moment got too big for them. it essentially became a 3 on 2 when it shouldve been a 3 on 4 if KD was locked in and only 1 net defender ran at Smart.
Tatum was just wide open. Nobody was even looking at this side. That explains not getting the time out. They knew Brooklyn defence is going to break down in transition. Great pass by smart tho. Nice cut by tatum
yep. good move since the celtics were coached to hustle and probably practiced this scenario. Nets were not prepared. Kyrie and KD were sleeping in that last second and you have 2 Nets going up to try and block Smart.... like cmon bro. Goes to show Nets didnt know what they were doing in that last defensive drive. A TO and Nash couldve told them to stay in their zone and not commit 2 unless its Tatum or Brown. Leave the 3, guard the 2. If they hit the 3 oh well but dont let them beat you on a layup lol.
For once the king is right, No not that King…. In the end when it mattered most it was Kevin d Forcing a three-pointer followed by Kevin no D guarding nobody.
Grande Tatum 😁quanto ho goduto. Si gode di più vincendo all'ultimo secondo. Forza BOSTON, FORZA CELTICS. non mollate. Giocando così, si vince il titolo. ☘️🏀
I think this will be the closest game in the series, and it won't go 7. The Celts were off their game tonight, the Nets shot their shot, and blew it. I'm expecting a Boston blow out in game 2.
Im just watching this againm.i cnt get over it .its just like a final game already👏👏 but i just realize now...looking at KD,🤣🤣standing i dont know what his thinking about🤣🤣 he even dont try to stop!!!
I hope this is JT breakout post season he is way to good to not have taken that next level yet. He needs to lead his team past this team and the next, he's already special but he can be great
What a game by both sides. Imagine if the Celtics were on point from afar as usual. This wouldn’t have been anywhere near as close. Almost glad they were a little off. Lol
This was a pretty great game. For a while I thought Kyrie was gonna bring the Nets back. The thriller was at the end. Of course, I have told everybody who will listen that the Cs are my dark horse. I'm really expecting them to take the east. Jaylen Brown is my homie "grandson" is why...lol. I don't know him but he's from the metro Atlanta area where I live. Good luck Celtics.
Great win by the Celtics! Kyrie is clutch but also held on to the ball for waaaay too long instead of passing it to Durant or making a play for him to get to his spots.
Udoka choosing not to use C's last timeout going for broke in that scrappy last play got shivers down my spine. We pulled it off somehow but gave up a huge lead. Not sure we're gonna get past the Nets. KD's not gonna have another such a bad night unfortunately. I sense we'll miss Brad's clutch plays along the road.
The jalen brown fake shot to pass was too much for Durant causing him to fall asleep due to admiration for Brown for the last 4 seconds of the game. 3:30 🤣
3:45 Would anyone tell me what is meaning of "they wave it off" ? The commentator said this phrase at least 3 times. I've been tried to search it online but nothing came out.
he thought that the refs were saying that the shot wasn't out of Tatum's hands before the clock hit zero, which makes no sense because it clearly was lol. In reality, the refs were checking if the game was over or if there was a fraction of a second left on the clock when the ball went in.
So glorious, he was really feeling all those buckets he got today. He was looking like a turnstile on that last play, karmic justice for giving Celts fans the finger. Now he can take all those points along with the L.
@@FloydWhoElseTV I’m saving this comment I’ve stuck my foot in my mouth before and I think you just did 😂 but I really just dislike both Kyrie and Durant, so to see them lose in that fashion was awesome.
@@charlesxavier6785 that game was the chip for yall. It reminded me of when Derrick rose hit that 3 to win the game over the cavs in that first game matchup. You know what happened after that? Boom. 4-1.
@@FloydWhoElseTV I don’t know why you’re lumping me with an NBA fan because I am not. I just dislike Kevin Durant and Kyrie so to see them lose is fantastic. If they beat the Celtics I won’t really care. The NBA is a woke, soft, sad organization that is unamerican and undeserving of support from us.
Literally the only way the Celtics were getting out of this game with a win, couldn't leave any time on the clock for another ref job. Adam Silver made a call and he wants the Nets coming out of the east for that TV money.
