Tatum has a hard-earned wisdom about drug addiction & recovery. She’s been in the trenches and has come out the other side. Such a talented actress and I hope we can see more of her in the future.

Tatum has more natural acting talent in her pinky than both her parents put together! I am SO glad she is working again!! The shit she had to have gone through as a (essentially) abandoned child actor in 70's-80's is probably more horrific than anyone could imagine. That she waited until she was 19 to first try hard drugs is f*cking amazing to me. I applaud her honesty and perseverance in her recovery. Really looking forward to hopefully seeing more of her on the big screen.

Jenny is the funniest person. I remember her tv show, and it was hilarious. I was surprised it was cancelled. Love her podcast and happy Jenny is on the air still. Wishing Tatum nothing but goodness and happiness, and the strength to go through the tough times.

Tatum God speed don't let the darkness keep you down .I'm a couple years older than you and I've been through so much with my father growing up but I know it is passed down generation through generation it has to stop somewhere. I loved Papermoon when I was thirteen thank you for being a great actress and great human in this dark world.

Addiction is about numbing the pain. The sad truth that people don't like to see is some people have been hurt so badly they can't be sober because the pain is too great. Some heal enough to become sober. Some don't have that luxury. I get so worn out with the judgement.

Excellent comment, I love that you speak the truth. It's all about pain and being afraid to feel it. Drug addicts are in terrible pain from childhood trauma. Imprisonment isn't the right way to fix this.

Addiction is a generational curse. Yes forgiveness is a must for everyone but not everyone gets there, unfortunately. I talk to one outta three of my children. I also have mental illness but I'm sober. Depression is s life long dibilitating, sad, life to live.

Burt was married to Judy Carne of laugh in fame who has passed away, and his second marriage was to Loni Anderson who is blonde and didn't have a drug problem, just throwing this out their.

This is what I wanted to write. Judy Carne had the addiction; she wasn't a blond though. But so much of what Tatum says about HW are generalizations that are false. Yet she is a veteran of HW, so it seems that she is confused. HW is always an industry that is unkind, and a place of mostly rejection. She talks about women not getting '2nd chances' but I suppose is weary of giving examples of actual people. People are mistreated there, and it is not usually based on their gender. Men are equally disrespected, and sometimes it is the female stars that come out on top. It is just that women are often sexually objectified, which makes them more vulnerable in a sense. Burt Reynolds is a bad example she gives, as he was very disrespected in the later half of his career. He became a icon and legend in his 30s as the top box office star for 3 years, and then a decade later, he was kicked to the curb. He found movie work hard to come by; it was sporadic. This all because he got very sick for a number of years due to his serious injury on the set of the movie City Heat in 1984. He simply looked unhealthy. Her own father Ryan, was disrespected in HW, maybe because he self sabotaged his career a little and people didn't like his attitude. But he found getting work sporadic also, in middle age. David Cassidy wasn't treated great when he tried to comeback after taking a simple 3 or 4-year hiatus. Probably because he wasn't super youthful and cute looking in the same way, when he did come back. It has a lot to do with how you age. If you age in a way that you retain the same looks that you had when you were in the prime of your career, you will work , but if your looks change too much as you age, and you no longer look a lot like you did before, then generally, you won't find the work easily. Most actors once 45 and over will find getting substantial parts fewer and far between, unless they are mainly character actors. This is true for men and women. But if they look strong and healthy, mentally and physically some stars will still work well into 50s and 60s. Cary Grant did, Jimmy Stewart, Henry Fonda, Rock Hudson (until he was ill), Nicholson, Beatty, Newman, Lucille Ball, Angela Landsbury, Bette Davis, Susan Sarandon, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Lange, Jane Fonda. There are less good examples of woman though. These people all projected or project a lot of strength mentally and strong personality. Today Meryl Streep was getting more work than almost anybody else, well into senior years. I think the actors that possess a healthy look, and are very strong and confident in their character and personality will work the most, and get the most respect. This is embarrassingly long, sorry

Tatum & I both have a lot in common with family drama and similar situations with our families. Tatum's middle brother Patrick & I are both similar people as we were both raised by our wonderful mothers. Ironically, my mom died of heart failure 7 months after Tatum lost her mom. My parents were married at the time my father died and he was a good person (much different than Ryan O'Neal). My parents marriage was similar to Ryan & Farrah's LTR as my dad had a longtime battle with alcohol since childhood and he had a 9 year love triangle while he was still married to my mom. Just as Griffin disowned Ryan as his father, my sister Valerie & I had no communication since I was 15 years old and she died from breast cancer in September. After no contact for 17 years, I recently reconciled with my brother Sheldon and he finally came to terms missing our mom since after Valerie died. I felt like Tatum & I have been friends for so many years. God Bless You Tatum, stay strong.

Bashing her father is the only thing that put her on the spot light. Yeah they were a dysfunctional family. Isn't that the norm in Hollywood? Their father get's all the blame but she i bet a spoiled rich brat herself.

This woman knows all the secrets of Hollywood. She literally has met everyone. She even lived with cher & got possessive & ruined friendships & boyfriends. She hung with michael jackson & tom cruise asked her out a very young tom during taps. Her father was a monster. I dont know if he was resentful that he had kids so young & a wife ( he got his wife joanna Moore pregnant when he was only 21) but he has 4 kids the 3 he raised all turned out to be hard core addicts & the one child he did not raise Patrick ( leigh taylor young his mom allowed minimal to no contact ) he is the only kid that turned out normal he has a successful marriage to rebecca demornay & has a good job as a hockey commentator. Ryan actually says he wants a dna test to see if Griffin is his son. Not only does griffin look the most like him out of all his kids but how awful a thing to say. Theirs an interview where he said he wishes he never had his kids. Total narcissist. People called tatum a liar but others have backed her up & Angelina Huston on a break from jack said ryan hit her. Nuff said. Poor Tatum she went through hell.

the reason why Jenny has the show is to invite famous people to talk about their life. What dont you understand about that? Its like an interview: you let people answer the question. Jenny did.
