Rob, thank you for reacting to this song. Classical Turkish music requires a long and tough training and practice. One of the things about is that you usually do not yell when you sing it.
Here is the lyrics for you both in Turkish and English ; Gam'zedeyim, deva bulmam, Garibim bir yuva kurmam, Kaderimdir hep çektiğim, Inlerim bir reha bulmam. Elem beni terk etmiyor, Hiç de fasila vermiyor, Nihayetsiz bu takibe, Doğrusu ta'kat yetmiyor. ........ Im sorrowful, nothing can heal, Poor me, hopless to make a home, This is the destiny that makes me suffer, Moaning doesn't help with it. Sorrow never gets away from me, And it never gives a pause, Its endless pursue, Makes me exhausted.
hey hey I'm sorrowful (grief victim), I can't find a cure I'm poor, I can't settle a marriage x2 It's my destiny, what I always suffer I moan, I never find relief x2 hey hey Suffering never leaves me It never gives a break x2 Endless this pursuit, Honestly, (I have) not enough power
Hey Robk, Tatyos Efendi is the creator of the this song. The vocal is Melihat Gülses. This is really typical Turkish (Ottoman-palace’s) classic music. Thank you for your reaction 🙏🏽🙏🏽
original turkish music vibes from 1800s. besides the lyrics, composition is on front. back then when we think about the cultural effect and 1800s life circumstances the lyrics of song of related year are mostly about love and religion
Oh boss 😝 most foreigners hate Turkish classical art-music lol, this is actually not a record from early 1900s, u can imagine how hard to get 100 years old record lol, but this one is the closest version to the original which sang by Kudsi Erguner Ensemble, it means this is also cover, in twitter i would you to try Gaye Su Akyol’s cover which is totally different than the original version, it’s very close to Barış Manço’s version, anyway, hope u did not feel bored coz as i said most foreigners think such genre is boring haha, but i bet u’d like Gaye’s or Barış’s covers 😄
You stopped the video clip in the wrong place. Don't do that again before the Lyric paragraph is Over! This is a very special piece. And Let's listen to some more Modern versions. Oky. ''Dedüplüman / Çağrı Çelik - Gamzedeyim Deva Bulmam
