I wish the WNBA coaches were more like NBA coaches. They suck - any tiny thing, they’ll call it. It’s the same in collegiate woman’s bball too. These women are tough, quit treating them like they can’t handle a little roughness. I love D, but she’s been in the WNBA long enough to know how the refs operate and she plays off that. The refs need to stop calling fouls so much - the players learn very quickly how much they can get away with so they’ll follow suit. Also, I guarantee you the only reason they both got a T was because they swore at each other…which happens all the time in the NBA.

Two of those instances were completely accidental and little to do with the defender. Taurasi landed on the foot of a defender not even looking at her. The 3rd instance is the player falling down.

This destructive defensive move happened to Paige Bueckers and Nika Muhl. The defender knows she can't block a shot, so she plants her foot where she knows the shooter's feet will land, and thereby, causes a high ankle sprain. When this happens to a premier player, she should karate chop the defenders neck & knee her tits. I wrote to Bueckers & Muhl telling them to knee the bitch in the k*nt if that happens. I missed eight weeks of B-ball because this happened to me. Man, I saw stars when my ankle turned over. After that, I developed a fade away with a raised knee for creeps who got too close. I'm a shooter & I also learned to create space for my elbow J. Moreover, using picks became an essential part of my shooting game as did getting the defensive player to jump before I did. Bop them in the ball$ was my retaliation.
