Can't beat a Taurus for price and quality. Rat shot for snakes? Leave those snakes alone and they will control the rats! I often bring snakes home from work to release on my property. Black rat snakes and king snakes are the best...
I live in a rural area in Oklahoma. Lots of Bull and garden snakes, with an occasional copperhead in the yard. I use to kill them with a garden tool, but now I just leave them alone, because they do cut down on mice.
Purchased one 1 year ago ..... blk matte/Carbon steel. one of the best 38 snub nose around, especially the Price and Performance. very easily concealed. Very good bang for the buck.
I haven’t gotten it back from the gunsmith yet but he’s doing a hammer and trigger springs swap for me on my 605. Expose to reduce double action trigger pull from 12lbs to 6lbs. Midway USA has them from Wolff.
Have you ever broke down your cylinder? I haven’t and I’d like to see a tutorial on it, like a full cylinder breakdown, not just the one screw that allows removal of the assembly.
I have a 3 inch 856 that I haven't had a chance to shoot yet, but fit and finish look great. My 605 Poly is getting boxed up to send back to Taurus because after 5 shots it starts spitting lead back at me and locks up. It is an older version, has the hammer lock, but I hope they cover it under warranty. I have said Taurus are like cars, you hope you don't get one built on a Monday or Friday.
I have a 605 Poly and while I appreciate the .357 and .38 special capacity the fit and finish on the gun is extremely rough and uneven. I haven’t shot it but I’m concerned about the durability of it because of it. Can’t wait to get rid of it 😂😂😂😂
