Picked one up for 309. I bought the optic ready model. Taurus has come a long way. I was very impressed with the trigger and how flat it shoots .Compared to my Hellcat Pro and XMacro.
I’ve been looking at this gun but I just got a p10c for $360 I couldn’t beat it in my opinion just bc my brother has one with over 10k rounds through it no malfunctions
I'm a Glock guy but I do love my GX4 and new GX4 Carry. My original GX4 has over 2k rounds through it, no gun issues, a few ammo issues of course. My new Carry, started off with 500 rounds of nothing but JHP, everything from 115-147gr, standard pressure and plus p. No issues, my new summer carry.
I am a glock guy and was super hesitant on buying this firearm due to the reviews people give the GX4 online. However this particular model the CARRY well I have 1000 rounds through mine and not a hiccup, I will stand behind Taurus on this one! I made the right choice
I just spent two days at Ready Range for the Taurus Experience shooting the GX4 Carry & G3 TORO Tactical. Like them both. No trouble shooting the MagTech Steel-cased ammo. Waiting for them to ship the GX4 Carry to me.
1000 rounds through my EDC gx4 carry toro with optics. One light strike on a steel cased ammo. No issues with brass. Shoots better than the g3c, glocks, shields. Shoots as buttery as a 92fs and the px4 storm. Also got the GunClip for conceal carry.
please....for the love of everything, remove the gunclip...always use a quality kydex or even leather holster. So many accidents with the gunclips. Yeah theyre convenient but its just asking for an accidental discharge or negligent discharge. Just not worth it. I don't know you obviously, but please just take my advice.
I don’t use the Winchester steel cased anymore, but when I did I out them in a container and gave them spritz of WD-40 then made sure they were not saturated. It added lubricity to the cases and helped them feeding from my mags because the dry cases before had a lot of friction and binding. Tula cases are way smoother in comparison.
I just got the Taurus TS9, and recently got the TriStar T100!!! Haven't shot the TS9 yet, hopefully Friday, but got it for 279.99 My TriStar is stupidly accurate though what's crazy is that the TS9 sits almost as low as a cz p10F. They look very similar at the back where the gun sits above your hand, and I like how deep the TS9 sits in the hand.
Waiting for mine to come back from Taurus since the extractor popped out after 150 rounds during a range day. Was impressed with the performance till that happened.
The people that are saying that they won't have any gun that doesn't take down without tools are living in a fantasy!!! Besides, if you're any kind of prepared you ARE going to have a pocket knife at the least, but tell me how in the hell anyone will need to take down their ccw pistol in the field??? If you're not in the military on a multiple week ruck, then you won't have that concern.
500rds without cleaning I can dig, but I think it's stupid when guys do 1000rd reviews without cleaning and knock the gun when they are absolutely dry and filthy dirty, and have any kind of stoppage!!!
It's not the 1k review that I take issue with. It's the guys who do them without any initial lubrication and bash the gun if there're stoppages of any kind even if it nearly makes it to the end of the 1k
