1:18 - Some people are driven by fear. Anyone who searches "fix problem 'x' gun" will find videos of problems with all brands of revolvers, shotguns, pistols. Change the 'x' to your favorite gun manufacturer and watch videos, forum posts, etc., with people talking about problems with all brands. It's simply the nature of the mechanics with which things work. Taurus sells millions of guns every year and if they were bad, in a few years no one would buy any more. This means that the vast majority, more than 90% of Taurus gun buyers, buy the brand again and are satisfied with the manufacturer. The manufacturer has had problems in the past, yes. But it was another management. The company changed its shareholding control in 2014. There are other people, another head, other guns.

2 out of the 4Taurus semi auto pistols I have owned have been problematic. First one a 709 9mm was fine, no issues. 2nd one was the .380 Curve model. This one functioned fine when firing, but when you tried to manually cycle the action to unload it the case would hang up on the ejector and just not eject, no matter how fast you tried to cycle the slide back. I sent it back to Taurus for repair and they sent it back and still didn’t work. Sold it. The next was the G3 full size. No problems at all with that one. The last one was the G3 compact XL ( longer barrel, compact frame ) and this thing never worked from the get go. FTF, FTE, you name it, no matter the ammo type . So sent it back twice and still not fixed. Finally this is the 3rd time back at Taurus and it’s been over 2 months. I called last week to get an update and they said the are waiting on a part. Sheesh.on the flip side the Taurus revolvers I have are very good with no issues at all. Including a .44 mag Tracker model that I have loaded some very stiff hand loads of all types and it works fine.

As far as I know, this is the first polymer frame, double stack DA/SA decocker 10mm on the market. There are a lot of 10mm pistols that claim to be DA/SA, but they don't actually have decockers. I'll wait awhile, until companies make better 10mm pistols.

Try a tanfoglio 10mm. Low bore axis like a cz. I have a long slide hunter in 10mm, it's smooth as butter.

I have one with the same problem tight mag release if you have 15 rounds in mags and by chance I pushed on the bottom of the mag and it worked as smooth as any other gun I own also it shoots like a dream with 180 grn fmj but does not like heavy ammo for the first 200 rounds I hate a gun that needs a break in at 10 mm prices

I'd never trust a Taurus for CCW, But as a range toy this looks pretty fun

I'll pass on Taurus but I might consider the TORO Defender in 327 Fed Mag with the 3" bbl ...

I just bought a Taurus g3c toro it's the best carry gun I've had I feel for me it's extremely reliable right out the box came with 3 12 round mag feed all the hollows i ran thru it so far which was federal punch 👊 love it so far 💯💯 I don't understand any Taurus haters out there

I have the TH40 and it has been a good one so far. Ain't had a problem with it and there is well over a 1,000 rounds through it

Definitely snippy to shoot. Dependable YES. Quirky YES. one of the best 10mm on the market. NO but it fills a nice between Hi Point and Smith. It is not the most uncomfortable gun I've ever shot. Still glad I bought it YES. But then again I love anything 10mm

I haven't seen ATH anything for sale around here. At ten millimeter doesn't seem as cheap as what it said.
