I'm still exited about this game (played old Origins mod yesterday and it still strikes me how creative and innovative it is made). I hope this will look more gritty, dirty, rusty and broken with lots of wrecks, debris and overgrowth when it's finished :)
Hey Martin, you need to let people play your Map on DayZ and Arma again. Dedicate to a new updated version of Origins for one of the two or just let people develop it. There is no better advertisement than this. Think back 8 to 10 years. Your mod was the most played out of them all for a reason. Your game can be too, but you need those games as vehicles for a new fresh Fanbase.
@@kane2239 The thing is, back like a few years Martin and his team were shutting down all servers on Arma 3, DayZ Standalone and so on, who used their map. Of course, its their property, but it was free advertisment. Martin could have worked with those server owners together to shine an even brighter light on the upcoming Game of Origins. For example, tell people its okay to use your map, as long as they put in an advertise Screen at the spawn, Savezones or Loading Screen, with Socials, RU-vid and Website. But this never happened. And I am sorry to say: But Taviana will die before its released. Because there is no fan left. I aged 12 Years since playing Origins, most of my friends from back then have children and families to take care of. The old fans are gone, despite a handful a people. A nd those who still LOVE Origins are getting wrist splaps for wanting to play it again with friends. Its crazy, and the worst marketing the team could have done. Still I want this to succeed, because the ideas are fresh and its truly handcrafted, not like 90 % of the other survival games out there.
@@SpookySkeletons I agree. It his mod, but it is built on Arma 2, which is not his, so it's a bit complicated I guess. I understand if people want their modded servers or mods for them selves for a while, but I think eventually, and especially after this many years, they should release their files for other people to use and continue making Arma 2 mods evolve for as long as possible. I am very interested in using a small part of Origins on my modded servers, especially some models. By the way, I am 49, have wife & children and I work as a ceo, and I don't get why people stop playing games. If you are a gamer, you never stop gaming.
I am really wondering if this game ever will come out. I dont mean any offence, but the "results" we are seeing after about 5 years really shock me. The roadmap never was even close to what the progress was you showed and i highly doubt we will see this game starting into early access in 2023 or even 2024. Long time Origins mod fan, but i dont have any hope for this one to be perfectly honest.
You're right, we'll reduce the volume of the footsteps. Most cities are built on flat land. Other people praised their own products and their companies are now worth trillions of dollars. 😜

Это не похоже на историю успеха тех людей о которых ты говоришь, они остро чувствовали запрос общества и делали для них продукт. Ты с запросом опоздал, очень опоздал. Я вижу 90% разочарованных в тебе отзывов, твоих некогда безумных фанатов. Стоит задуматься… Ничто не стоит на месте: время, технологии, графика, твоя былая крутость.
I'm not sure if adding the subway station to the city brings much value when there's no reason to go down there, except for hiding, if the city, in quotes, is actually entirely empty and lacking details. Additionally, the subway station likely causes a significant drop in graphics quality. Or am I mistaken? Please keep up your work 😊
u need a little bit better textures in this game, light didn't reflect either. Shadows were missing. Of course, I don't know if all this will come and maybe better engine i hope u can it doing. And old Dayz Origins Basebuilding system with indestructible houses. I'm looking forward to the game and the end result nice work :)
1:40 Что насчёт системы звуковых эффектов эха? Очень важная составляющая. Помню в Crysis там где из порта мы уходим в джунгли было очень реалистичное эхо и мозгу это сильно понравилось)
I personally think that metro system is a waste of time, metro itself looks too new and shiny with a lot of light. But who cares, game will never be released anyway. Adding new a new features instead of just finish all cities on the ground which now looks like work on them was started a week ago or so... such things like this metro, complex vehicle repair system and others should be added later in patches and addons, if you try to add everything in base game it will never be released.

4:13 компрессия видео на RU-vid сильно зашумляет подобные кадры. Даже если у вас нет возможности записывать оригинальные кадры в 4К то можно сделать ролик принудительно из 1080 в 2160 и битрейт будет выше!
After more than 4 years of work that looks like a joke. I loved the Origins Mod at DayZ and I played it a lot, but this musst be a joke or a scam what you making there… I‘m an arcitecture and working every day with programs like this and much more. To get Houses with design and the world beyond it dosent took much time. So if this GAME will go on Steam it need more than 5 years on top. Sorry dev‘s but is a joke… I think this game will never come out!
@@TavianaTheOrigins Rust has underground monuments, metros and vent shafts that turn dark as you enter them without ray tracing. Not sure how they do it (some kind of trigger to reduce contrast and brightness in a specific location?) but it could be worth looking into. It's a bit jarring though - someone on the outside can look in and see everything inside perfectly clear while you can barely see anything from the inside.
