Felicidades por aportarnos una parte de la historia de los magníficos plateros de Taxco. Yo de joven en las vacaciones trabajaba en la platería los Castillo de San Ángel Inn. Was a student in the mid 70's and stayed in Taxco for a while. Still have some pieces with black onyx ? Hand made and stamped with maker mark. The artists there should do whatever they can to hold on to the quality and not succumb to mass market.
