i went into the Iron Lung many years ago approx 50 years ago it smelled then so nothings changed also i used the cafe over the road on the corner always was a nice cafeeven when i started around 1960
Reason for the roadworks....most of the crews have families too. So short staffed during the summer holidays. Annoying, but that is the issue with a 6-8 week window of school holidays....

Not a stupid question! If you carry on driving renewing your bill every 3 years there’s no requirement to refresh the knowledge. If however you rescind your bill and badge you will be likely called in to have your knowledge checked by an examiner before you get your bill and badge back
