I think Paul did a very good job. I will agree with some of the comments that I've read it's more of rat rod replica. But no matter how you look at the picture. It's still a beautiful piece of art so I do believe he deserves that kind of respect I believe his mind is a beautiful place (eccentric if you will ) but if anything obviously it has attracted certain viewers . Paul is trying to tell you what he has done maybe on a limited budget? How you can build whatever your heart and mind desires and that never ever let anyone tell you you can't if you look deeper into the story that's what he's trying to tell you. I'm not preaching i'm just expressing my opinion I believe Paul is sending you a message and that message is believe in yourself and build anything you want no matter how you look at it it's a piece of art. I've read some comments on Paul's van. Some of the comments I've seen are kind of rude. Why ? I understand it's a public opinion one comment I read where someone was making fun of Paul's last name why why? What did Paul do to you he's just trying to show you the people the viewers of the possibilities that any or all of you can do as long as you believe don't look at the car but understand the story. We cannot change who we are because that will make us fake stay true to yourself and stay true to others respect and love one another and what a wonderful world it would be. Nevertheless: Unless this great vehicle will get for instance an air ride chassis unfortunately the van is not really useable (because laying/sitting way too low on the street). Nevertheless: Great work!
A touch too low to be heavily loaded, especially as the suspension has all its original travel. FX4s are a great drive, can you still get the full lock?
Faceplant1235 you are clearly not a car guy. Lowered cars typically have the suspension travel shortened to sit closer to the ground. He instead made the fenders longer to make it closer to the road without taking out drivability. Let me put it in terms you can understand better....for instance your man dress....if your dress comes to your knees and you lengthen it so it now comes to your ankles...you are not lower to the ground. The dress around you is but you are not (basically what this guy did). On the other hand if you chopped half your legs off with the original length dress...the garment will now be close to the ground but only because YOU are now lowered to the ground. Hope that cleared things up for ya
