He most likely was subpoenaed to be a witness, when you are subpoenaed you have to show up or you can get arrested, since he was already in jail then it didn't matter they just submitted the request to the jail and they brought him to court everyday. You don't have to snitch to be brought in to be questioned as a witness. The fact of the matter is when the real paper work was submitted Tay 600 name was not anywhere to be seen. If he had truly witnessed the alleged murder he most likely would have been on trial as well, even with a plea bargain through "snitching"he would have still done some time (5-15 years). They don't just let you off for conspiracy to commit murder (Which is treated like you did the crime by just knowing that crime took place.)

tay exactly right when he say whatever u say in interrogation room u gotta say on the stand. the prosecution just can't read a statement that he gave in the interrogation room to the jury b cuz rondo and cdai have a 2nd amendment right to cross examine all witnesses so any statement tay gave can't b used in court unless he testified. if they did use that statement and read it to the court that's a definite appeal issue for rondo and cdai. not to say it was right for tay to give statements and Shit But unless his ass got on that stand and told them what was up during trial that statement don't mean Shit. it just depends on ur definition of snitchin.

its up to the DA to use you for the courts advantage if they already was told on and the case was so easy they would not have to use him. The DA has to call you for you to take the stand you kan have 20 witnesses or accusers and not call them all
