That is so cool. I don’t have parents who went to church.I live on the Bible Belt but came from a dis functional family and neither one of them can sing. I used music growing up as a source of comfort. I grew up in the baptist church with my grandmother but didn’t know what worship was til I met my ex and went to a Pentecostal church. I love music and was in 3 choirs there. Then life happened and I got a divorce.I now go to a nondenominational church and wish and pray one day God will use me one day in music because that is my love and passion.I live to worship God and have been told I have a great voice. She is a inspiration to me hearing this.
Taya, when you mentioned God singing over you---many times I've sensed the presence of the Father with songs of deliverance---in the book of Zephaniah One of those songs from Hillsong United Here Now [Madness] The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quite you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing." ---Zephaniah 3:17
Beautiful story, but kinda sad at the end where such a powerful person in Jesus like this, and she had to say she got a tattoo. I am sure now that so many people have justified going and getting a tattoo, thinking that it’s “okay.” Is there nothing that not okay? Are we just slipping into whatever feels good and doing, “whatever?” This really really made me sad. She justified getting a tattoo for a Bible verse that meant so much to her. Jesus says to write these things on the tables of our heart, not on our bodies. ✝️
Everyone can pick things out about everyone else that we can say isn't what God would like. The pure love and surrender to his wil is what he loves. We all sin every second of the day. How can we sit and say this person isn't right because of what they've done? Are we ready to publicly display our sins and accept the same judgement from everyone? We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Not by our works or trying to be perfect. I love you all Goodnight
Greetings in Jesus! I am trying to understand what is the Baptism of Holy Spirit that You refer to. I see John the Baptist mentions that Jesus will baptize with The Holy Spirit and with fire. (Matt 3:11 KJV) In relation to being sealed with Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13), when does this happen? What conditions bring about or enable the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?
