Thank yall for watching! I know this may seem dumb to show but there are a lot of new guys in the hobby flooding engines! These are the easiest engines in the world to start.
Haha just watched this again. I'm going to have to get a dirty 30 for my next truck, the body is so sweet looking and of course the beautiful 46gt... so nice...
Ha thanks brother! I listened to this on the way to work three times! It sounds so good! I just love to hear a two stroke idle and rev! Such cool engines
I am just beside my self brother...I would not be able to sleep knowing that bad girl was just waiting for me play with...lol On the edge of my seat now waiting too see her go ...Glad you are feeling better bud ..
Thanks Sam, I know man I cant wait to hear this thing echo the wood line at mom n dads and this huge rolling hill park / well its the battlefield but man that should be fun! These engines really get the adrenaline flowing!
@@eastsiderc hope everything is going good for ya. We have 2 more bajas to race this year. So about 8 of us, plus crucial rc is gonna come out too. Hope you bring a baja out and join us this year!
This is so informative and super info!! Click click click for the prime and Brap brap brap!!!! Sounds awesome Jeff. Thanks for teaching all of us!!! You are the master sensei 💯💥💯🎯💥💯🎯
Haha well Thanks Momma Thunder I actually got so excited I left out one step , but thats not very critical though so I rolled with it! Haha! These engines sound so good!
@@eastsiderc yes those engines - they are amazing!!! Rocky and I ran one of the electrics the other day and we were so bored lol. We love the gasoline side of the RC car hobby. Thank you for all your help and advice. I’ve heard all those sounds before!!!! lol. You taught your student very well !!!! Man. Now he has me putting on stickers and making my own stickers out of guitar wraps. Good grief. 😂😂😂 My perfectionist OCD is getting tested to the max lol. I’ve made a pattern and taking my time though! Rocky knows I’m the one to do this stuff lol. It’s truly a lot fun and I’ve enjoyed it so much!! Hope you are feeling better !
@@juliachatwell well thats great and yall are very welcome! Rocky has been doing great at tuning his engines. Them good ole pain in the butt stickers haha! They are not bad unless they are huge like the big Primal monster truck stickers! They are truly a pain haha! And Im so glad you all are enjoying the gas side! Its the more fun side of RC for me because I can hear it!
SweeeeeEEEET bro... love the blue also. Ps... I pray God heals you and restores your health to better then before. May many blessings be bestowed onto my brother in Jesus Jeff. I declare healing in the name of Jesus. AMEN 🙏❤️
Hi Brap Mom!!! Been meaning to comment on one of your posts for a bit now miss talking and sharing braptastic videos with you Jeff and Brap dad! 😥 Hopefully soon I can launch FifthScaleorbustrc back up!
@@robertmoretti9800 Oh Rob I’m so happy to hear from you. You have been missed so much. I’m so glad you are ok. I hope to see You back on RU-vid real soon. Have a a blessed day friend!
that thing is a beast man!! i love your vids keep up the good work, planning on getting a camera too start recording my baja 5b experience.. any advice on a starter camera set up ? any help would be appreciated
jeff i just love the way you get all tuned and hyped up when you fire off one of your trucks or baha's. its kinda like i was right there with you in the moment. dam son you sure can create some excitement with the drop of a hat huh? anyway i was wondering what it would take to commission you for a build i would like to get done. you could start it all fresh and new like you like to do, and sense i dont know much about all the pieces and parts it would take to do such a job i would definitely leave that up to you also. i would like to go with the high end stronger parts, bolts, nuts, pins, clips etcetera. Jeff if I have any chance at all of having you do this for me please get in touch w/me and let me know how we can communicate back and forth so we can get this ball roll'n. ok? I don't have an endless supply of money but I do want you to build it tight and right and smooth like you like to do. Ok that just took me an half hour to write so that tells you how I would do better talking on the phone in person to actually get some ideas, thoughts and communication done in a timely manor. hope to hear from you when you have time and have thought about it. thank you much Stephen
Hello Stephen I would be honored to build you a car bro. You can find me on Facebook under Jeff Lohr. My profile is a pic of me and my dog . PM me and we can discuss some viable and affordable options for you.
man i love your videos. you have helped me alot in my journey into 2 strokes. if you had to pick just one motor for 30dnt, would you pick this one the 46cc or just go straight for the 65cc? i'm having a hard time choosing one. i know if i go with the 46cc i can at a later date put a 65cc top end kit and it becomes a 65cc motor.
I would go with the 46 bro! It runs great and start with a 29 tooth pinion because I used the 27 and it was way to low. And thank you man for the compliment Im really happy to help! And having the 65 option is awesome as well!
@eastsiderc I think I'll take your advice and go with the 46cc and later down the road if I want more I'll buy the 65cc top end kit and make it a 65cc. Thanks again for all you do to help others like myself.
@hottrodd1090 you are more than welcome to, they way I see it youll really get to see the difference of both top ends and you get some wrench time! And these engines are super fun to work on!
Hi Jeff I want to ask your advice about the Rovan XLT I'm wanting to buy one and it appears to be the best money to brap ratio especially coz I'm from South Africa Cape Town and the Rand to Dollar is steep please give me your take in this ? Thanks God bless and keep up the great content brother !!!
The XLT is a great truck but unfortunately very underpowered. But if you put a Taylor 46 in it then it will not be under powered haha. But its not a bad truck at all. The new 30 degree north with the 38cc is an awesome truck too. I would highly consider that one as well. I feel its quality it quite well. Its the new Red DTT7 check it out at Fearlessrc.com brother ! God bless
@@eastsiderc Thanks Jeff just checked it out this is the one !!! Lol seriously that engine and pipe alone are way better not to mention the quality billet parts and overall design !!! Thanks for taking the time to reply and for your advice the price point is even better and comes with everything I need to get going and watching great content like yours will keep me going. Stay blessed and keep up the good work you really helped me make my mind up.
I need the master of tight and right to get my rovan Baja ext 5ts situated. I have ran it maybe 4 times and spend more time fixing stuff than I do actually running it. And I don't run it all that hard.
@@eastsiderc steering component bolts keeping backing out even with blue loctite and have 3 leaking shocks around the shock shaft, and of course rovan doesn't sell a replacement seal kit.
@@kaobigdog1 stock style steering or symmetrical steering? You may need to shim it up if its the stock steering! As for your shocks you might need to take them apart and tighten the packing nut that squeezes the orings around the shock shaft. Also the part number for replacements of the bottom half of the shock for 16.99 and you get two is RV95146 from Fearlessrc.com. You can always go that route my favorite shocks on a budget are KM vvc shocks they are awesome. And the best shocks money can buy are IRC shocks. There are a few options for ya brother!
@@eastsiderc this car came with the symmetrical steering. Took it all apart and added a little red loctite. If need be they will just need heat to get them to come back apart. As for shocks went ahead and ordered the IRC with red springs, the mount kit and aluminum spring retainers this morning. Rovan was no help with getting replacements ( even though they should be under warranty ) and don't want to keep having the same problems. Spend the money once and get it done right.
Well there ya go! I personally love the IRC shocks. And they sell all the parts to keep them in great working order. You may not need the red springs unless your using a really heavy engine. But they are nice to have just in case . They are certainly heavy duty haha
@@eastsiderc Yes sir, the one and only. Been watching you and the whole crew for awhile had to take a step back from my love of RC for a bit but I can't stay away much longer I NEED to get my hands dirty and brap again! Miss ya my brother we'll talk soon 🤝
@@robertmoretti9800 ok Rob man I miss you too brother! Love you bro!! Thanks for getting back to me Im so glad your okay and! Man brother looking forward to talking with you brother Rob!!!!
