I don’t have any of your big bore engines currently however will be ordering the small bore immediately upon release. I really do enjoy watching your info videos even though I don’t have these engines. You really put a lot of time and effort into helping everyone having a good experience with your products. Excellent business model in my opinion. Makes me want to do more business with your company in the future!

Hi Mike .. on the 50gt on the carb there is no choke where u said on its ..so do I open up the throttle little bit then start it ?

I assume this means you dont have the WJ carb, which is ok, some older ones might have a WT version, if no choke then i bet its a Rooster 990 Full mod, so just a crack of throttle and go for it, cna choke by hand if want for one pull by blocking the air intake during the pull

I currently have the new WJ 14 carburetor on my new Taylor 46GT engine and it starts up but it cut off when I stop pulling the throttle brand new to this 1/5 scale gas RC.

Another tip if flooded you can remove the fuel line from the carb to use up the fuel in the carb/Reed, thus clearing out a flooded motor really easily:)

What temperatures should I be looking, for operation and not to go over?

measured on top of the head near plug shoot for 180C bashing temps and dont go over 200C, but you wont do that as long as you are correct on tune.

Do you have to do any modifications to the 30° North? I want to put a 65 supreme in it.

the 30N truck is pretty tough, not too much to do, you will need these oversize Billet housings or you'll melt the stock ones and bearings let go etc (ideally pick the discount towers too as give adjustment for big bore ride height, www.taylorrc.co.uk/product-page/losi-5t-5b-diff-housing-set Further to upgrade the centre diff, youll need this sweet kit:www.taylorrc.co.uk/product-page/modified-rc-centre-diff-mount

Sorry one more question on adjusting my ride height. Do I adjust up or down?
