Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood Shave Cream 

Mark, great shave! I agree. TOBS Sandalwood is a staple in most wet shavers shave dens. TOBS matching Aftershave is such a great scent, but what's even better is that they make (or used to) make a matching pump spray deodorant. It's beautiful. Really nice. 🙂👊

Melbourne (Sat' arvo) G'day Mark. Great review. Again. Just a comment on the alum then the witch hazel. Positive of course. The alum immediately post shave is, as far I'm concerned, a must as an astringent/skin seal up especially for those little nicks that you can't see, that don't even sting or zing. The shave itself, from my perspective, could be described as a cleansing assault on the skin. So when moving to the witch hazel, I regard that process as helping the post alum rinsed skin along a little bit in going about its repair work. (I also use the witch hazel on the day/s I don't shave) And, again just from perspective, it seems to work for me. Hope this makes sense. And for those who regard witch hazel as a bit a myth...well that's for them to decide.

Hi Mark great shave. TOBS Sandalwood was my first shaving cream I used when I started wet shaving. It also is my favorite Sandalwood scent of all time.

This is the one that started it all for me 15 years ago. My very first shave soap. I should revisit it for a trip down memory lane.

Pound for pound TOBS is one of the BEST shave creams in the world. This Sandalwood is one of the staples in my den. I will buy a new one before it gets too close to running out. After a shave with this one you walk just a little taller. Great shave, Mark!!

Just bought it. I have the tube, soap in the wooden bowl and now the cream. I think the cream is the best.

Great shave Mark. I love Taylor of Old Bond Street creams and there hard soap's, especially the Sandalwood scent soap and the cream. I've got all of there creams. There creams are nostalgic and of very high standards, top quality soaps. I live in the UK and I visit Taylor of Old Bond Street Jermyn Street quite often. Take care and enjoy the weekend.

Just realized how similar noxzema is to the poraso green preshave 😂

I once had Taylor limon cytrus. The smell was great but the foam was a little weak and lasted short and to be honest the slide wasn't the best either. I don't recommend 😢 I always stick to Green Proraso Cream in a tube. The best cream ever.
