ONE OF THE BEST RIDES IN COLORADO!! Day 4 off-roading at Taylor Park in Colorado. This park was located just one hour from our house in Buena Vista and is close to the Taylor Park Reservoir, Almont, and Crested Butte. This is definitely one of our favorite places to ride ATV/UTV trails in Colorado. #taylorpark #colorado #utv #outdoors

This group is the exact type of riders that got so many sxs bans in the area….. thanks for that LZR outdoors…… you prob didn’t mean it but your the folks that did it…… have some class and respect for the area your riding in……. You don’t own it.

Going off trail, ripping up the grass, ripping donuts and tearing up the parking area at the lake, riding in the lake..........and people wonder why it access for riding keeps getting shut down! 🙄🤔

People just don't care about anything. It's incredibly rude to destroy things like that and ride in a lake. This year I was up there at Taylor Park and there were full sized side by sides trying to get on a singletrack trail.

What month is this. We are going to Taylor Park the first week in June. Scared there’s gonna be too much snow. Planned originally for August but couldn’t find anywhere to stay.

This was actually in June of 2020. By this time snow won’t be any issue for y’all unless they get a late snow storm in May with heavy snow. That is very unlikely so y’all should have no problems. Hope y’all enjoy the riding, we know you’ll have fun up there!

Keeping up is no problem. But it’s definitely not as smooth of a ride. But that’s utility vs sport.

Where did you park at? Was there any dry camp spots around those trailer

There is a large parking area located next to the general store and restaurant, that is where we parked. We believe there are some dry spots for campers there, however we cannot give you a definite yes or no.

Do you have any recommendations as far as a good place to stay close to Taylor Park? I have a group of four and we would like to have a cabin if possible.

They have cabins at Taylor, however they do not have kitchens. When we went for the first time, back in 2014, we stayed at Harmel’s Ranch Resort in Almont. Really awesome place to stay with very clean cabins and it’s about a 30 minute drive to Taylor Park and a 20 minute drive to Gunnison if you need/want to run into town.
