Whenever you see the word Allegedly that means that something was fed to the journalist. Instead of accumulating facts themselves. I am a former investigative print journalist. You rarely heard us using the word allegedly. We lost journalism when we lost dan rather. Jeez. The man has already pretty much confessed. Uhhh. Allegedly 😊
The jokes write themselves on this one. Woman security guard assasinated by her black boyfriend with her own gun. People think the culmination of events that led her to her demise is supposedly what makes us strong. They are wrong. Don't we wish the whole country could be JUST LIKE DETROIT?
She clearly couldn’t manage herself at home, so there’s no way she could handle things at work. Just think about it, what if there had been a bigger threat? She would’ve been completely ineffective. I understand she was facing personal challenges, but a security guard needs to have the right mindset to defend themselves. And honestly, women in security often act like they’re so tough but at the end of the day it's a facade.
My condolences to the family but the moment you say we didn’t think it was this bad that means people knew this man was abusive. The moment of woman sees a man has even the potential to be abusive in a relationship she needs to leave. Unfortunately, women are some of the sweetest creatures on this earth, some might believe they can change the man. Some believe he will change himself. You can’t take the risk too many women have been harmed or tragically killed in abusive relationships. Once you see a person exhibits any abusive behavior you have to leave. Don’t take the risk. Don’t bet on him changing because it could go from bad to worse. All the young women in my family a man has no reason to ever put his hands on a woman. Not unless she’s coming at him with a knife or a gun you have no reason to put your hands on a woman and if you do, she should not be with you
