Honestly, it’s because everyone acts like “it’s not catchy.” Sometimes the songs may have to be catchy in order to be comprehensive on a beautiful level.

I wish you did the last three deluxe tracks cuz they are BOMB!!! You are in love is such a beautiful song, wonderland... bihhhh that's a bop and New Romantics is probably my favorite off the whole album
My favorite comment ever about this album was where this girl was like, "what we learned about Harry Styles while listening to 1989...he's a bad driver." 😂 1. He drives with no headlights. 2. he can't keep his wild eyes on the road. 3. He hits the breaks too soon. 4. Drove them off the road. 😂😂😂
Basically Style is about (as Taylor has explained it herself) a couple that keeps drawing back in together no matter how many times they try to end it because their love is timeless. In the chorus she uses several different fashion statements (red lips, little skirts, slicked back hair, white t shirts) as metaphors for their love because all of those looks are classic and never go out of style. The second verse is interpreted wrong among most because it does sound like he has cheated, but Taylor explained it as them both being apart and trying to forget each other by dating other people but regardless of who they are with it is still each other that they can't stop thinking about.... which goes back to them coming together again and never going "out of style". I hope this cleared it up a little. :)
lol thank god someone said this! You can tell from the song and the interviews she gave that at points in the relationship they weren't together all the time, it was a on and off thing, hence.... we never go out of style.
I feel like it's important to mention that although Taylor _did_ write Clean about a romantic relationship, she purposely released it and included certain lyrics because she knew it could mean so much more than just her break up. Instead of making it a song about moving on after a break up, it's a song about really letting yourself feel pain so that you can move in to your next step in life, and that message is so powerful and can be applied to many different addicting situations, whether it be drugs or self harm or your own break up.

‘I’m probably not gonna react to any of her older stuff so you can keep your requests to yourselves.’ I just came here after watching AJ’s reactions to Red, Speak Now and Fearless 😂 something changed huh
Pls React at Marina And The Diamonds Album "The Family Jewels" or "FROOT" I would Love too an React of most Little Mix Albums. Like Get Weird or Salute. And about Taylor, You should try RED I love You ❤🇧🇷
Matias Alarcón She is saying..that they were "relationship goals" and that they just belong together..but then she discovers that he cheated on her and he was like yes I did but I still want you and he tries to apologise😊
yeah but she didnt notice that she says "I've been there too, a few times", so both did it. Besides, from my point of view, he didnt say he cheated, he said he has been with some other girl, so i think they were apart and even after being with other people they still got together, cuz they dont go out of style idk
In Style, she says: He said what you heard was true but I, Can't stop thinking about you, and I I said, *I've been there too a few times* He's not the only one being unfaithful, but they admit that it wasn't great and they'd rather be together. You're analysis was great! Just a little one-sided
Michael O'Key She was actually in an on-again-off-again relationship, so in the in between phases where they weren't seeing each other, they'd gone and seen other people.
Michael O'Key which sounds awful but they did live far apart and so even with private jets they still had obligations to their own schedules and lives. The tricky thing is that the song deals with how you will always love someone even when romance fades. Love can exist without infatuation. It can mature from puppy love. And sometimes it turns into that kind that regardless of how long a while has passed, it's still unchanged. You could feel it for other people but maybe just not quite as much or as similarly. She explains this with how there are clothes like a suit and a tie or the little black dress that never leave your wardrobe regardless of the season. There are feelings that never go away too.
Also Out of the Woods is more about an anxiety filled relationship. She is singing about a relationship that was very public and a lot was going on and it felt like to her any minute their relationship would fall apart. "In the clear" referred to finally being in a place in their relationship that felt secure and safe but in the bridge you can hear that that never happens because it all becomes too much and she says "I walked out and said 'I'm setting you free'".
When I first heard the album, my favourite song was Style! I loved it instantly! the one that grew on me were This Love. Now it's probably my favourite off the album!
I honestly think you should react to Red even if you dont react to her previous albums, Red is probably one of her most underrated albums. Even if it did sell over 1M physical albums in its first week lol
EBJS 2000 I love the track; I was shocked too. However, after listening to her opinion, I do think that it isn't as lyrically strong as the other tracks.
“Welcome to New York”: We begin our story in New York. “Blank Space”: There once was a girl known by everyone and no one. “Style”: Her heart belonged to someone who couldn’t stay. “Out of the Woods”: They loved each other recklessly. “All You Had to Do Was Stay”: They paid the price. “Shake It Off”: She danced to forget him. “I Wish You Would”: He drove past her street each night. “Bad Blood”: She made friends and enemies. “Wildest Dreams”: He only saw her in his dreams. “How You Get the Girl”: Then one day he came back. “This Love”: Timing is a funny thing. “I Know Places”: And everyone was watching. “Clean”: She lost him but she found herself and somehow that was everything.

@@Evermore_13 she used to be on “Team Katy” during their ‘beef’ if you notice she used to subtly dislike taylor especially before her reaction to Ready for It
I think you should give Red a chance! It's a REALLY good album! Honestly I prefer that one over 1989. personally, the lyrical writing on Red is far more superior that this one... Give it a chance!!!
Diana Valencia Sanchez yeah red is way better than 1989 she should give it a try...songs like begin again ,treacherous etc are amazing..way better than the content on 1989..
"I Wish You Would" is simply a gift from heaven to us.I've never heard a song so perfect. Swiftie since 2008 and "I Wish You Would" is my favourite song.
I’m so greatful to be alive at the same time as Taylor. Cus we all know she’s gonna go down for YEARS after her time and I’m happy I get to watch her grow, be happy and live
Williamz But Taylor wasn't the one that threw six nuns out of there home of fifty years that was Katy. God you Katy fans need to educate yourself looking up to a person that bullies others online and offline.
I was never a fan of her music till this album came out i went to a store bought the cd and fell in love with every song my favorite will always be clean though
Alexisacookie if you like that, you might not like country, but i recommend either Speak Now or Red, as they're slightly country, but not full on. also i love your profile picture! |-/
I Know Places should be a song everyone could easily relate to. You must know how it feels to like or even see someone your friends and family would not approve of. That relates to her level as a celebrity where the public eye can completely take down how you feel about someone they'd hate to be seen with her. It's not an unfamiliar feeling.
Taylor's Out of the Woods Music Video is amazing. Actually all her music videos from 1989: Shake It Off, Blank Space, Style, Bad Blood, Wildest Dreams, and New Romantics (1989 deluxe track) React to Ellie Goulding's Halcyon Album, then Delirium, and her song with Kygo - First Time React to Britney Spears Blackout and her Music Video for If U Seek Amy (it's Epic) React to Mariah Carey Please
FUN FACT: Taylor Swift has written every single song off of every single album she has ever released, and for the album Speak Now she actually wrote every single song BY HERSELF with no cowriters. You don't see many artists do that, maybe they'll write a few songs off their album, but not many write/cowrite 100% of their songs.
Subin Kim yeah! Not many people acknowledge how talented she is. 5 extremely successful full length albums. All written or co written by a young pop star
Youssef Shaqroon yup 😁but the fact that she said to keep our request to ourselves because she wasn’t gonna react to her old music but yet she has cause of the swifties telling her to👏👏😂
I must love you 'cause I don't like Taylor and I'm watching this reaction. I listen to a couple of songs from this album tho. Please react to The Fame Monster by Gaga!!
AJayII pls pls pls react to The Fame Monster normal version first and pls pls pls react to The Fame Separately after. They're very unique in their own ways, even though TFM is an EP
