No, it wasn't a closer, I htink it was the one song before the last one, she comes back for Shake It Off, left the stage to change costumes. I sometimes feel like this is one of the holy trinity (at least for me) of the 1989 tour: OOTW, Enchanted/Wildest Dreams mash up and WANEGBT rock version. This performance is absolutely fire, and the additional bridge is just everything.
She knows how to put on a show. I love the bit about "built to...", while the production is building to the chorus, and her walk is slow and seductive to build up tension too. I didn't realise at the time that she always Sang live. Those high notes and belts. Wooooow indeed!
I can’t remember if you’ve seen either of these yet, but the rock version of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together from the 1989 tour is really good and so is Clean (from the same tour). Also like other people have suggested, you really can’t go wrong with anything from the Reputation tour if you’re looking for some top tier live performances. I’d highly recommend checking those out 🙂
I was at the concert she gave in Mexico City, and I can tell you that it was the best concert I've ever been to, the sound quality, the image, there are no bad places, everywhere you can hear it perfectly. The energy of the public is something incredible, no fights, no aggressions, just fans together singing with Taylor Swift. An experience I will never forget.
