The way i interpret the mirrors is that they’re both two huge celebrities so they see themselves in each other because Harry was portrayed as a womanizer during this time & Taylor is seen as a man eater, but they both could look past the image media labeled them as and found the real them.
I think it's like, they see eachother in everything? And they're kind of everywhere but it's also a "vibe" it's a "style" they're always this aesthetic hazy dreamy sort of state. And don't forget this is the same relationship she talks about in out of the woods, it's a relationship that was fragile and on and off but perfect in that, and special for it's fragile nature because it was the magical. And the song Wonderland I think emphasises that as well.
the use of mirrors could be a lot of things. the idea that both he and she are reflecting on the time they spent together (him sitting on the bed, her walking in the forest). the concept that both of them reflect each other (the lyrics "he said what you heard was true, but i can't stop thinking about you and i said i been there too a few times"). even the possibility that the mirrors reflect the marks their relationship and they have left on one another. especially since the song is about a relationship about two people who (no matter what they do or how they might hurt one another) keep coming back to one another.
Jamea Dean diea at 24 in a car crash. He was an actor and has famed.pics in his white tshirt with slicked hair. He was famous for his movie rebel without a cause.(and others) Also, the glass shards are part of a shattered mirror, which I think is metaphor for them holding onto broken pieces of what they had.
This is quite literally my favorite song in the whole world. There’s no song that can top “style” in my opinion. I remember when this song came out and it basically changed the game for pop music in the best way and it blew up off the charts 💃🏻😍 seeing her perform it for me live at the eras tour was probably the highlight of my life 🤌🏼😍
I see the split tree in the beginning of the video as symbolism for Harry and Taylor being two branches from the same tree. They are so similar as artist and in personality it’s uncanny. They share complementary zodiac signs Aquarius and Sagittarius as well. Also I believe the mirrors all throughout the video is symbolism for seeing themselves in each other’s reflections. I love the airplane necklace shown in this video because Taylor and Harry share that necklace. BTW Louis has a paper airplane tattooed on his arm. Hmm I wonder why 🤔. Relationship aside these two artist make an amazing duo.
I always thought the mirror metaphor was that, even though they're broken they still reflect sort of like, even though they break up they still... Work. Like idk, this is me reading your comments 👁️👄👁️
While I think that Haylor was a PR stunt, this song was about Harry. Both those pop stars put in the same shoes. Taylor is this amazing lyricist who'll make a beautiful song out of the slightest of situation. This song is truly amazing.
You should react to Out of the Woods as well! It's also about Harry! And pay attention to the paper airplane necklace, she also showed it in this video at the very beginning! Taylor and Harry used to wear matching paper airplane necklaces when they were dating!
I don’t really listen to Taylor Swift anymore... idk why, I do love her tho. But this song is REALLY good. Also JEFFREY we NEED a little mix reaction todayyyy. They performed Secret love song on “the search bbc” and their album came out yesterday
@@samantaorlynmanato6947 oh and btw I do listen to Taylor but not as much. Like my playlists used to be just Taylor, 1D and little mix. Now it’s more diverse. 😁
glad to hear that ... my only playlist on my phone is her song haha .. when i like to losten to other artist i just play it on spotify to maximize my phone storage haha
Yes, she is religious. She is Presbyterian; went to bible camps in Pennsylvania as a child. When she started touring full time, she was a 10th grader; she homeschooled and graduated from the Aaron Academy in Nashville; it is a Christian school that supplies Christian themed instruction. It has a HQ in the mid-west somewhere. Traditional materials, don't think it was online.
reflections and mirrors--sort of a recurring theme of Swift---you see the person you miss everywhere. the 1--"I thought I saw you at the bus stop, I didn't though" Cardigan--"Chasing shadows in the grocery line" Mirrorball "I'm a mirrorball/ I'll show you every version of yourself tonight" It shows up in a fair number of her songs and videos. Go back and think about how she used mirrors in the mv for Delicate. To quote Yogi Berra, "It's Deja Vu all over again!" (Also an album/song by Dan Fogerty, which she would def know.) If you are too young to know Yogi Berra, look him up, he's worth it if you like language (and mangling it--funny as hell). Was manager of the Yankees when I was a kid.
If you like the effect of her layering vocals you should see how she performed Blank Space on 1989 world tour :) whole 1989 world tour is a masterpiece actually :)
This is one of my favorite songs off of her album “1989”. The channel “Vox” made a video analysis about this song which is really good you should watch it or maybe react to it. The channel actually makes a lot of great videos about many deferent subjects. This is the link to the video👇🏻 :ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-l_b86duruvs.html
Yes, (≧▽≦) you finally did it. I enjoyed watching your reaction. If anyone wants to see intrepreted video of this song, you can check it : the anatomy of Taylor Swift's style. I loved this song even more after seeing that interpretation.
Unpopular opinion: I’m a big swiftie but I’m skeptical at times that this is about Harry bc it’s too obvious and I don’t think she would make it that. Pls don’t hate me! 🙏🏼
React to Taylor’s performance of We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together on the 1989 World Tour! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-eZRus0sMrqI.html
PLEASE START REACTING TO THE BAND CALLED 'WHY DON'T WE'!! If you are going to react to them give this comment a reply so I can give you a brief overview of the names of each member etc. Start by reacting to their newest song "Fallin" and then maybe react to their other songs such as "What am I" and "I don't belong in this club". And then after you've heard a few of their songs then we could start recommending some other cool videos like "Zach Herron being Zach Herron for 2 minutes straight" and other things like that
The guy is Dominic Sherwood. He was dating Sarah Hyland who is a good friend of Taylor. He also starred in a show called shadowhunters. He's a really handsome guy. 👀❤ Also white shirt is classic Harry.😛
James Dean was a young handsome actor who was killed in a car accident in 1955 at 24 years old. He became a cultural icon of troubled youth of the 50s based on his most famous film Rebel Without a Cause.
I see the broken mirror as reflecting a fractured relationship. So still seeing the glamour but ultimately only the reflected appearance not actually in the same place as each other in the relationship.
React to her music video 1) bad blood 2) story of us 3) shake it off 4)Me! React to her song 1) death by thousand cuts 2) should've said no 3) my tears ricochet 4) beautiful ghost
I think the mirrors represents the fractured relationship. James Dean was an iconic actor from the 1950s, mostly known for his role in Rebel Without A Cause. His style and vibe is iconic. That causally attractive guy with the jeans and white T-shirt, leather jacket and the slicked back hair. She sounds angry and sad because this isn’t an upbeat song. Lyrically it’s about an unhealthy relationship. The notes in it however, really drive the point home that this is not a good relationship and it’s not going to last. The trio of notes in “out of style” during the chorus descale in a more ominous tone rather than the more upbeat lift at the end.
Great video, you noticed some detailes I've never paid attention to before :) Also, congrats, America! Seems like things might be getting better for you guys, politically :) Meanwhile, in my country we've been protesting for over two weeks against the government breaking human rights, sooo... I'm jealous, I guess 😂
In post-WWII Hollywood, a new style of movie (teen angst and disillusionment) became popular. James Dean was in some genuinely iconic movies, becoming super-popular. In 1956, his career as the exemplar of brooding melancholy came to an end---drink, or drugs, or just stupid, who knows? He drove a Fiat sports car off the road on Highway 1 in California at around a hundred miles an hour.
James Dean, come on! I spent my youth in love with him. I went to his hometown just to visit the house he grew up in and his grave. This isn’t important, but he was most probably gay and was put in some sketchy situations in Hollywood because of it.
