@@jamesmartin-ic2rj There are very good Chilean beers - other than Cristal. If you ever come here, you can have a tasting, and realize that Cristal is a beer you drink when you are thirsty. Decent, but if you want something good, there is, for example, Kunstmann. They have a beer with hints of honey - delicious. Southern Chile has a strong German presence. Beer and küchen are excellent there.
The "cerveza cristal" bit had big Seth Meyers energy, and I absolutely loved it. It's really stupid, it's going on entirely too long, and every moment is comedic gold.
Once your net worth is over 1 billion you deserve to be paying a 50% flat tax rate, and the goes more so for these upper 1% 200 billion plus billionaires.
Shit. After the Depression the top income tax rate was like 90%. The rich caused the Depression and people wanted the wealthy elite to pay for it. Top rate was 70%until Reagan. That's why Reagan was a hero of the Republican party for years.

I am loving how Nikki Haley is making Trump mad by doing EXACTLY what he did: refusing to concede and proclaiming she won when she lost. Aah, schadenfreude! How come you taste so GOOD!? EDIT: To the dozens of MAGAhats kindly informing me that Nikki Haley has conceded, I now know how you felt when you feverishly shouted "TRUMP 2020!!" before he promptly lost. You have my condolences.
Well, that money isn't sitting in a basement doing nothing - it's invested inside the companies, in the products and services, in the deliverables, or, if it's in the bank, it's being loaned out to smaller companies. Most of that money is doing some kind of work. It's the decision making power that that much capital gives a handful of individuals that is the most problematic part of this
Please make comment about Ruth Gottesman who recently gave 1 billion dollars to Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. The money will pay tuition to medical students indefinitely. We need more billionaires like Ruth Gottesman. ❤
Or....how about there are no billionaires, wealth is distributed more fairly, then more people have opportunities without having to depend on the rare odds of receiving charity from a billionaire?
We don't need any billionaires (seriously, what can you do with 10 billion that you can't do with 100m?), and we need them paying proper taxes, not accepting whatever scraps they deign to throw us.
Also I know some people noticed Louis Cato bobbing his head to Cerveza Cristal but also shoutout to the drummer for bobbing her head along to the jingle too. 😂😂
There were a lot more people voting at my polling place midday than I’ve ever seen in a previous primary. And WAY more volunteers too! It was a sight to see. Every one was SO nice there and in a great mood! My entire family, (which includes a few deprogrammed exmaga) ALL voted BLUE straight down the ballot. BLUE TO SAVE AMERICAN DEMOCRACY 🇺🇸🥰💙🗳️✅
As a Chilean, I’m not super proud but, also kinda proud 😂😂😂😂

Imagine how every Republican politician & Conservative media host would react if Taylor Swift & President Biden did an ad together encouraging people to register to vote in November. The conspiracy theories about the 2 of them would be unlike any other before.
@@BuckStoval Thats not politics...thats an opinion about politics. Hell by your logic that would make you involved in politics because of the YT comment you just made.
@susanyearout, every single option: 💙 Find out beforehand if there are judges up for vote/ Dem or Rep! On our state ballots, there was no indication at all, but there were many judges. If no Dems to oppose Reps, leave it blank, neighbors dog… 💙🌊🌊🌊
Living in Washington State we vote like Colorado. Mail in or drop box. I can’t believe that all 50 states don’t do it that way. It is ridiculous to have the inconvenience of having to go to a polling place. Everyone should be able to vote. And forcing people to go into polling places causes some people with children or work not be able to vote.
Yes, my precinct kept changing the location to vote in person,it was a school, a church, a mobile home office....I got tired of it so when Colorado started mail in ballots I registered for it & have💙 loved it! Also, 💙Colorado has the Gold Standard in mail in voting. 👏👍
Unless you want to see a lot of SNL sketches where Mikey is Biden & James is Trump, I doubt most people in this country really want a rematch of Grandpa 1 & Grandpa 2 running for President again. Can we reflect on how much money $197,000,000,000 is? Then realize that each one on the list is + $1,000,000,000? Completely unrelated... Federal minimum wage is $7.25/hr. 🙄
As a none American who can’t vote in the election but who will be massively effected by the politics run by the ones you elect, I’m beginning you to only vote for candidates who stands for human rights, equality under the law, for women’s rights to make decisions regarding their own body, for gun reforms, who wants to stop book-bans, candidates that believe that no one who has committed crimes/are being prosecuted for crimes or who has taken part of an insurrection should be allowed to hold any office. Vote for a candidate who believes in finding solutions both nationally and internationally to fight against the climate crisis. Vote for candidates who wants every American to have access to affordable healthcare. Vote, encourage everyone around you to vote, but vote whit your conscience.

Taylor doesn't need to specify, we know what she cares about and how she feels, She won't stoop to prove them right, She knows and trusts we know who to vote for and who she backs. None are Republicans I can assure you
Taylor Swift is concerned about women's rights, women's control on their bodies, and the LBGTQ community, among other things. She is for BIDEN all the way. 👍
Eat your heart out! Biden has accomplished so much more than the previous 60 years. Such as: domestic oil and gas; taking on big Pharma for lowered drug prices; record-breaking jobs creation; all time record low in unemployment; producing the best economy in the world after Covid; broadband to rural parts of the US that have not had it; roads, bridges, and interstates in all states new builds and repairs. Republicans run back to their states to take credit for improvements, but they all voted AGAINST them in Congress.

@@nicole-me2oj As someone who merely makes 20x what other people make, I know for certain my feet definitely do not hurt even half as much. Not even a tenth as much. Humans do not understand the scale of a billion. They do not understand it. If you made $1 Million every single year for the last 1000 years continuously, you'd still have less than 1% of Jeff Bezos wealth. If you were a middle class American making $100k a year, you'd have to have been working since before history, before ancient civilizations began to record history, since before written language came into existence, since before the pyramids were built, to make 1% of Jeff Bezos wealth. Tax the rich.
@@nicole-me2oj Maybe do research first instead of just talking out of your ass. There are so many people who worked hard to make their fortune. Who the fuck are you to deny them what they have. You're so naive. And these people also get paid in case you didn't know. Last time I checked Elon and Jeff made less than 100,000 a year. There people who make way more than that. From that point, all you have to do is invest in different businesses. The so called "wealth" (intangible) is what they use to get loans from banks to further invest in other endeavors, which in turn increases their net worth. Oh, and most of them usually got some sort of help from their parents. Don't be a hater cause you're just poor or have no one to support you lmao
That is not true of Taylor Swift. In the beginning, she spent most of her time traveling in a tour bus going all over the country while her teenage counter parts were going on dates and looking forward to the prom. She still is jetting all over the world to sing for her fans. She isn't home most of the time watching TV or chatting on the phone with friends talking about what she's going to wear on Friday night. Do you think she gets to enjoy shopping when she goes anywhere? Not a chance. Her life is a fish bowl. That's a high price to pay for a young lady. Her break up songs are based on real experiences. Her love life is constantly under scrutiny. Does a guy love her her money? Does he have a fit when he has to conform to her rigorous schedule? Is he annoyed by her top billing? Does it bother him she doesn't have a regular private life? Also, Taylor is generous. She donated to causes she believes in and pays her people decent wages. She also has to worry about security. Her father complained that he had to buy an armored car after she voiced her political opinions. It takes guts to go out on stage with all the yahoos that stalk her, not to mention the MAGA freaks who probably have her in their cross hairs. She's in the news almost every day, not because of her latest songs, but because of her 'private' life. Would you want to live like that? Yeah, she's rich. She doesn't work a 9 to 5 job. But she's paid a heavy price for her stardom. In my opinion, she's earned every penny.
I am a volunteer election official in VA. Since it was a dual primary, we had to ask voter’s which primary they wanted to vote in. Saddest thing I heard was “I’ll vote Republican but it isn’t like that will matter once the ballots from Northern VA are counted.” Ma’am, a Primary doesn’t work that way! 🤦♀️. So much stupidity and blind loyalty. (And for reference, we had 171 voters, 13 were Democrat).
@@richborn6700I don't know Virginia law, but in most states the party of registration is a public record. How the person votes is not. This information - the number of voters of each party, unaffiliated or undeclared voters, is released by local elections offices although not usually this quickly. Lots of statistics that can give interesting insights.
To the person who thinks they're the only one who likes Biden: I love Biden. He's done a great job & he's exactly what we need right now - stable, calm, rational, experienced, diplomatic leadership.
I too am a huge Biden fan who thinks the rest of the folks may just be crazy. The man has been great as our President. Maybe if the left quit tearing him down so much things could get better. Leave it to the dems, the one party that loves destroying their own candidates. Maybe we could learn from the right and actually be loyal and back our candidate. After all, you won't find a candidates that agrees with everything you want. Gotta find the one that shares the most of your values.
I wish Taylor would tell her fans that she’s voting for Biden. I think most of them know, but I’d love to see the all-caps meltdown it would induce from Trump. 😂
