This song is not about sadness; as the antidote to Love Story, which it bookends, with Stephen in the middle, it's about knowing you deserve better and not accepting less, which shows you how much integrity TS had even at 18. In my opinion, it's the enduring masterpiece from this album.

Taylor Swift can mend a broken heart with her music. My husband passed away a little over a year ago over memorial day 3 days before our wedding anniversary and my dad a year before that. My husband was 36 at the time of his passing. My family left me to grieve alone.Thats my tragic life I guess.
