Love your analysis. I found that there was an evolution in how she delivered the line "you should be" that reflects how she has evolved. The first time she is levitating down the street it sounds like she is fueled by rage and "you should be" is menacing. As it repeats it seems to soften a bit, but towards the end, when the the background singers are singing it back and forth, it almost sounds celebratory, like she has thrown off the shackles and is saying "yeah, you should be" I built an empire on top of your BS and it's remarkable! Similar to her message in thank you aimee.

I feel like the lyrics which said: " You wouldn't last an hour in the asylum where they raised me So all you kids can sneak into my house with all the cobwebs I'm always drunk on my own tears, isn't that what they all said? That I'll sue you if you step on my lawn That I'm fearsome and I'm wretched and I'm wrong Putting narcotics into all of my songs And that's why you're still singing along" Is about the scandal between her and olivia, where Taylor had a copyright claim over Olivia's song. It about Taylor defending and being protective of herself after she almost lost ownership to her songs before.

My first thought was "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolfe" but I don't have any intelligent analysis to offer (other than the Burton/Taylor connection.) It did not occur to me to connect this with the Three Little Pigs until now. If you have not yet watched the lyric video, I suggest doing so. The dynamics of word presentation seemingly contains a hidden parallel message. Read the large/bold words independent of the smaller text, and you'll see her repeatedly answering the question. "Whose afraid...Me." This also happens in the very last frame, where the only word left on the screen is "Me?" Since she left the question mark in the final word, I suspect she is questioning. Should she be afraid of herself? (Or, perhaps, afraid of the public persona that has evolved?)
