guys please don't believe this girl. I am a Swiftie since 2007 and I was there when Thug Story premiered at the CMT Awards. Taylor even joked about how much fun she had while making that parody and though she is not a hip-hop artist but it's indeed one of her favorite genres. She even said that she might even make another hip-hop song in the future. The critics liked it for the fun element and praised Taylor for showcasing her versatility. Now obviously some people did think it was degrading/ insulting the rap genre but that was a very little fraction of them.. Mostly people were impressed
