@@lockstepped if you think really hard vriska is responsible for literally everything after that door got slashed, you might say she killed LE, but she indirectly created him by killing tavros and starting a chain reaction which would end in his existance
@@owlismyfavouritecolorflame2325 I'm not completely sure, I mean, I won't lie I don't like Vriska, but if she doesn't do the things the did in Homestuck, the whole timeline would be doomed, so idk ._.
Looking at the bright side, that gave Jade the stronger protection ever... Looking at the not that bright side, that doomed 2 whole universes ._. Good job Bec I guess >w
Who gave Tobias Foxworth the right to stab me through the heart with those last few phrases? I'm fine. This is fine. I'm going to give that dog a stern talking-to.
this song is one of my biggest frustrations w the entire homestuck soundtrack. NOT because its bad, cause it is FANTASTIC on every level to unbelievable degrees, its just that. this song spends SO much time establishing courser as a leitmotif for bec/bec's powers/bec noir etc, including the various different instrumentations we hear the melody in, and yet. that leitmotif is almost never used again, that i can recall!!! it pops up here and there, but like, It Could Have Been Great and it pains me that the homestuck soundtrack didnt have a bit tighter direction, even if i know it would be kind of impossible with how it was structured, and even tho im glad it still resulted in some absolutely stunning pieces of music
My biggest frustration with Homestuck's soundtrack is that Killed By 8r8k Spider was wasted on a dumb little dialogue sequence featuring the troll dancestors.
well lets see the story get a redo and the music too. I really hope for that in the future. Also, I like dirk being the main anatagonist but I think that needed to be clear from the start, it's in the start but not obvious enough.
A friendly reminder: Vriska wouldn't have avoided Bec Noir from appearing in their section if she didn't made John sleep, that would merely make another timeline where John and the others most likely move on and beat the game, while the trolls would simply die either in the hands of Noir or Gamzee Vriska messing up the humans' section was literally the only way she and the others could still survive in the conditions they were currently in
basically she knew either bec noir would be made or the trolls would litterally die. so instead of letting the universe make bec noir she'd be the one to make bec noir
Umbra: the fully shaded inner region of a shadow cast by an opaque object, especially the area on the earth or moon experiencing the total phase of an eclipse. Ultimatum: a final demand or statement of terms, the rejection of which will result in retaliation or a breakdown in relations.
@@blueskythlikescloudsthe motif at 0:01 can be heard in the background of Hopes and Dreams (at around 1:19) Umbral Ultimatum originates from Penumbra Phantasm, which also happens to be used in THE HOLY (in the Main Melody)
yeah checks. considering umbral ultimatum is like spamton's theme it isn' a song it's 60 different songs frankensteined together. the reasons some notes sound original to undertale fans is bedccause they'e from homestucka dnt hey havent read homestuck@@CG09_TMP
@OchaKai While it is a stretch of the definition of a video game, Homestuck can be described as an adventure game due to it's similarities to visual novels. And if it can get me to use such a great song on this list, I'll take that oppurtunity!
In fairness to Vriska, the consequences of her actions in the flash already came back and bit her in the ass long before she even decided to do them. It was either this or subject her and all her friends to being trapped in a doomed timeline.
Even though it was long ago I read this comic this tune sometimes randomly appears in my head and I spend a moment trying remember where the heck it's from
Why internet? Here's how I got here. Retsupray -> Retsufrash of a Jason flash game -> Response video of various music set to Jason dancing back and forth -> Search for TazTastic because one of his songs was in it -> this video Homestuck why can't I quit you?
Undertale and Homestuck literally have the same lands, one with waterfalls and caves, one with lava and machinery, and one with snow and frogs. I just think they’re the alternate versions of the same universe, like the Alpha and Beta universes. Deltarune is another version of this universe.
Okay WHAT is the name of the wonky drums/percussion instrument that kicks in DIRECTLY after the piano intro It killing me that I don't know what its called
That one bit of Polypa's theme That I have been looking for for ages Was in this Fuck I knew it was in here too, my brain kept telling "It's in that one" Should've fukin listened
it is but a lot of homestuck music sample itself. all of the john egbert' s them sample the song savior of the world and most of lalonde`s sample pony chorale

at 2:39 until 2:57, there's this rising and falling melody that sounds like touhou's theme of eastern story? i wonder if that's intentional, or just sounds similar
