Where the Crawdads Song is my favorite book. It’s much more than a mystery/ thriller. Even though there is a mystery in it, I feel like that is one of the least important parts of the book until it’s not. The writing and scenery is gorgeous to me and it just makes you feel so much.
Where the crawdads sing is definitely a slow start but I can try to describe it - it’s a dual timeline murder mystery, where we switch from a murder case and evidence etc and Kya’s growing up in the marsh. Kya is the main suspect in present times but we go back and forth and more is revealed as we go. Hope that helps
I'm obsessed with Book Lovers. It's incredible! I hope you love it. I wish I didn't have to wait an entire year for the next Emily Henry book. Have fun & Happy Reading! 💖📚 As one of your subscribers, I have a personally fun question for you. What's a romance book you read & loved that made you feel like spring? 💐🌸
my intial answer is beach read or people we meet on vacation 😂 but I would say maybe the chestnut spring series? super quick and lighthearted and that reminds me of spring 🌸
I just re-read Scythe and finished Thunderhead and plan to read The Toll this month. I really enjoy this series and it's easy to read. Also Twisted Love isn't Dark Romance but all of her books have a good amount of spice in them though, sometimes a bit too much I feel like but enjoyed that series.
Amazing video like always! 💞📖 I want to start the twisted series soon, I’ll wait for your thoughts but I really hope it’s worth it. ☺️ Also, I’m so scared to start the ACOTAR series because the books seems soooo long! 😂
Where the Crawdads Sing is FANTASTIC... Owens description of the swamp had me wanting to visit... Kaya is one of my favorite Book Characters(adaptation was OK... I thought Daisy Edgar Jones, who was FABULOUS in Normal People, was the wrong choice for Kaya 🤷🏻♂) Book Lovers is my favorite Emily Henry book(haven't read Funny Story yet) ♥ Scythe was such a good trilogy(the audiobook is really well narrated if you wanna go that route) Someday I'll read my copy of Ice Breaker 😁
Scythe is soooo good! It is one of those keeps you on the edge of your seat type books. Once you read it you will definitely want to pick up the next one. The whole series is great!
5:15 - i saw the movie last night, it surprised me as it's not one I'd usually want to see 6:42 - yeah people werent kidding with the spice level like i had to skim a few of them. Wildfire (2nd one) however.. LOVED it, less spice, more plot, character development and cute puppies 🥺
