TBR Spin | October Prompt 

These challenges are great. I joined from August and it was so fun. Please continue the TBR spin in the next year For this promt I needed to reach for a larger TBR and I picked Emergency by Daisy Hildyard.

This was a hard one…Like you found, for most books I have no idea on setting. (And the book I was planning to read is set in Chicago so, yeah.) But then I realized this will be a chance to reread Pieces of My Sister’s Life, which is set on Block Island, really well written and fun. It’s more of a summer book, but I’m clinging on to the summer, kicking and screaming! Good luck with Reckless Girls. I read a review saying that it’s about loathsome beautiful rich people and the loathsome poor people who love them, which...isn’t my thing! I hope you’ll read The. Housekeeper and the Professor at some point. I bought it a year ago (the Vintage Classics Japanese version, pure cover buy) and I need someone to tell me it’s worth reading.

Yay, perfect! I had one Victorian book in the pile and I'm sure it fits the prompt so it will also be my Victober book 😁 I'll be reading The Warden by Anthony Trollope (my first Trollope and it's also short 👍)
