I watched this video a few months ago and because of the information, I successfully used my solder sucker and swapped my TBS Crossfire micro tx v2 to the nano tx case. Thanks a lot for making this video.
This video was amazing! Thanks very much for being so informative and I love the way you describe and explain everything, so clear and simple! Keep going like that please! 👏👏👏
He’s one of the best how to guys in my opinion. His videos have helped me many times. Most recently with a flight controller I was having issues getting into boot loader.
I was waiting to see it looks like on xlite since anouncment and now you made me spent 70 bucks haha. Thanx and keep it up with channel. Great content💪
So I tried to use the TBS retro fit kit and the main issue I ran into was that the Micro TX V2 has pins on the bottom left corner that have to be either desoldered or alternatively a hole would have to be cut into the back plate of the retrofit kit in order to get it to work without taking a soldering iron to the crossfire tx.
Ugh. I have the Micro TX v1 and an X9 Lite. I really need to upgrade to this. Not just so it fits the radio better but also to be able to go from 250mw to 1w.
Going to love hobby..I personally dont know why they keep so many hanging on wall? I'm giving away all my analog to the small group of friends who always support me. Even after trolled by some fpv army! PHYSCOFPV..CHOSHISEFPV in army asshats. Lol love hobby!
Pre ordered.. and I still dont have mine?? Great video but could put crossfire on xlite for long time ?? Xlite rocks! Great range for 90 percent of parks. Passed on ghost for time proven crossfire and ghost needs same adapter to fit crossfire..looking forward to exploring with dji goggles.last thing who did you prefer order from? Thanks3👊👊💪💪
So if I understood it well you can now fly an frsky quad with the taranis x9 lite and fly a crossfire quad with the same controller with just setting the tbs crossfire nano tx?
once you flash your x lite to use crossfire can you then still switch back and forth from crossfire to frsky protocol ? can i still use my frsky stuff after the firmware flash? thanks
@@monkeymang13 it’s actually easy, I don’t remember the steps to explain it but I think I just had to sotter the pins together and hook it all up, there’s one part you won’t need I think you just need to unplug it and remove it.
Do you think the retrofit would work with the Tracer internals? I just got the TBS Micro for my Taranis. My Taranis is now officially dead. So I'm trying to figure out how to get the Tracer Micro module onto the Tango 2 bay adapter (nano size)
just a question man and Im sure other people are asking it, if you just leave the x9d lite back cover on does it still fit on the x-lite with just a slight angle? I don't have one but I was curious cause I bought the retrofit kit already and got the xtl file for the full size and am gonna have my friend print the back cover for one of my full size crossfires so I can have 1w-2w output power on my Tango 2 Pro v3 pcb and fly my wings with the tango instead of having to go my full size tx which is nice cause I love my Tango 2 pro! I also might try just using the jr to jr lite adapter I just got in the mail too and see if I like that but I bought the retrofit kit just for the little pcb, cause Trappy said you needed it for the full size conversion on one of the streams, and incase I wanted it a little lower profile ya know and it was like 7 bucks so whatever lol
I have this module, but at sd card I only find the crossfire micro tx, (long) pressing enter doesn't start the setup. Am I missing something? Do I need to get a Tbs Nano TX software for on the SD card? Or should the Micro TX work?? I'm a bit stuck here...
So do you buy all these parts out of pocket or do these companies pay you to review their stuff? What is the point of having more than one transmitter cause I'm sure you probably buy everyone right when it comes out?
I have a question on the nano RX - I connected it to my micro TX and for whatever reason I am only getting 1:100 LQ and my rssi shows as 16 but this is at the table where my taranis x9d+ is showing 100% LQ and graphical rssi on main display shows it as full bars. I have micro TX set for 1W and dynamic power and I have the nano set for dynamic power. When I change the nano rx to just the 150hz I get zero and no telemetry - so I amthinking there is perhaps something wrong with the nanorx itself?
I forgot to add I should be getting at least 2:100 or so but limited to jiust 1:100 and 16 rssi at my desk while configuring everything. Seems very weak.
Set up your sd card contents and then set up your receiver. You can find that in my Taranis playlist and setting up the receiver is this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-05pDkrUHI8w.html
