AWESOME device, i have to tell you Eric, it's always a pleasure to see someone like you releaving these guys from the obvious stress the whole situation brings, interacting with them and giving them some freedom to loosen up, i'm glad you do that just like with your own unboxing videos.
How about some demo with progressive harmonies instead of all these basic kindergarten chords... it's so bloody boring tho!!!!! I just wonder if this unit is also usable for jazzy chords and voice harmony arrangements?????
haha absolutely loved it elric! also looking forward for to grab this soon for my studio build, are there more fresh new incredible goodies on the way? also have you seen any possible new dj gear:D
I've worked with a Voicelive Touch since it came out. I recently upgraded and really don't like the new version. They mention the "on-the-fly" editing capabilities of this unit which are NOWHERE near as flexible as the original. On the original unit, I can turn on harmony voices one at a time if I wish, then double it and add an echo on a single word or phrase with the tap of a button. With The Voicelive Touch 2, you have to mess around with sub-menu settings, change a bunch of effects parameters then save it away as a user setting. Even after all of that, the "hit" button cycles the effects on and off as a whole big group, not layered one by one like I can on the Voicelive Touch. I can see this working for certain people...just not for me. I will be returning my unit, minus (unfortunately) the re-stocking fee!
I agree 100% on the older version's user interface. Why couldn't they keep that ability and simply add rather than making the Touch 2 such a horribly complicated interface! One problem I had when I tested the older version was hiss every time I had any of the effects on. With the Touch 2 I don't have any hiss.
Oh man I allmost died laughing at all these scenes at the end. How many hours have you been singing there? And I cant understand how that guy controlling that thing can keep himself calm the whole time. He must have heard some serious stuff to not break out crying while laughing. xD
They stole a lot from Singtrix! I was glad to see your post. I have both and for the basics you cant beat the singtrix. Its cheaper (just unit and mic $200) very quiet and much easier to use. But if you want all the bells and whistles Live 2 is the way to go. Also, Singtrix customer service is non-existant.
