Nice work on the documentary! The founders of this convention clearly have a passion for Sorcery that is shared by so many of us. Such a great game and community. Cheers!
Awesome video! Was happy to take part in it and be a part of the local scene here. You guys rock, David, Alex, and Christo! Excited for Sorcery Con VEGAS!!!!!
REPRESENT SORCERY BOI !!! Such an amazing event and such an amazing community!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seattle was so magical and perfect can’t wait for VEGAS!!!! (Side note CANT BELIEVE I MADE IT INTO THE VIDEO!!! The whole time I was there I didn’t even notice a camera on me!
As someone whos been organizing and hosting community events for another hobby, its wonderful to see that its really just passion and persistence. I've been feeling the momentum myself and I hope the SorceryCon team feels it too Thanks for the video
Awesome stuff. Watched this with some sausage and a Pilsner to fully engulf myself in the the team covenant experience haha. Would love to have one of these in Florida.
Awesome! Sorcery really is a special kind of game, and I hope they keep it that way. I dont think the devs aim this game to be a contender to MtG or Flesh and Blood in terms of magnitude. Also, throughout the whole video, I can't get my eyes off the awesome paintings on the wall!
Looks like a very fun con. I received some boxes of the latest set and I am really looking forward to playing more Sorcery. Also great work on the documentary!
I gotta say competitive anything has pros and cons. Pros: Standardized. Easy to organize. Feeling of improvement or accomplishment. Cons: Meta, some game pieces become "useless". Salt. Temptation to cheat. Try harding or sweaty. All in all, it is a fun time waster.
This was fantastic. A great video. It made me wonder if I could organize something in Japan (Tokyo area). Is there anyway to connect with these folks to get an understanding of the logistics of something like this? I can't imagine it would be as big, but man would it be fun!!
Many thanks! David is usually around on our Discord (link in the video's description) or on the official SorceryCon Discord (you can find a link to that at the bottom of www.sorcerycon.com/ ). Also, if you haven't already, check out the Wizard's Den ( @wizardsden666 ). He does a lot for Sorcery AND is located in Japan. Good luck!
